Interviewing Leonard Ellerbe tomorrow if anyone has any questions.
If you interview Leonard again ask him would Mayweather promotions/Al Haymon be willing to go to Saudi Arabia and do a 5 vs 5 like Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn. Who would they have in the 5 vs 5?

Because after he beat Amir Khan and Lucas Matthysse, his career was pretty terrible. He was fighting Rod Salkas and Paulie Malignaggi while losing in every major step up fight.

I'm from Philly, always rooted for him, met him a few times but his career just never inspired much. He also barely threw punches and wasn't in the most exciting fights.

More and more I'm realizing he got lucky. He's the posterchild for an overrated and overpaid boxer in the Al Haymon/PBC/Showtime era

I was out vegas for a bachelor party and randomly left my crew and went to his fight against Amir Khan at the Mandalay Bay after realizing he was from Philly.

Dude was a 7-1 underdog and was getting boxed up before he closed his eyes and landed that hook on Khan who had a glass jaw. He loses that fight and he probably remains at the level he should have been. He won that fight and the Mattysse fight and got elevated to the next level and protected by the Al Haymon and was afforded the opportunity fight bums for big money and fight the top fighters for big money. Just because I'm big on supporting everyone out of my city, I became a fan after the Khan fight but he disappointed me time and time again.
