I been around this shyt since 1992. The first fight I remember is Bowe/Holyfield.
I hate to sound like an elitist but one thing I don't do is argue with fans that didn't start watching until Mayweather/De La Hoya.

another controversial take: sugar ray leonard was and is a gotdamn legend but after that first retirement due to detached retina..he def was more "calculated" with the fights he took...eventually that shyt really caught up with him in undignified ways
I don't even like to get into the business shyt. Dudes start talking money and percentages and A/B/C side, I bow out gracefully.
I won't go any further that talking about how a fighter has been on the shelf for some time and tryna figure out why his promotion isn't getting him in the ring.
But the money and side of the street talk is stupid. I can't get into it.
i just hope that what happened with crawford and spence will smarten up ppl on that...but time will tell
