Fact is that Canelo wanted easy payday...the shyt he was used too from DAZN and cheat the fans out of one of the biggest fights in boxing. PBC wanted to give us that big fight and even throw him an easy payday. He was like Nahh....why even go to PBC if you don't want to fight their biggest star in your division

It's unfortunate for the fighters over there. PBC won a couple of battles early but ultimately it looks like they're going to lose the "war". You actually have PBC stans running around sounding like Bob Arum right now. Talking about recouping money and dudes not being worth xyz amount of money. Times change I tell ya.
Haymon is a genius though. He used other peoples money to overpay dudes he advised, kept them safe for as long as possible while building them up (spence,wilder,tank ), and took his cut. Final move would be for Haymon to sell PBC for some huge amount as the boxing landscape looks like it's going to diminish going forward
Exactly. Boxing is doing better than it has in over a decade. They've taken all the momentum from MMA. They put on 3 cards last year with a live gate over 20 million. UFC doesn't have a single 20 million card in its entire history. Boxing's future looking very promising. They just need the right matchups and they need all the talent under one umbrella to make that feasible. And we're slowly but surely heading in that direction.
