Canelo's entire career some man have spent in this thread arguing why he shouldn't fight the best fighters in his division

It's unfortunate for the fighters over there. PBC won a couple of battles early but ultimately it looks like they're going to lose the "war". You actually have PBC stans running around sounding like Bob Arum right now
. Talking about recouping money and dudes not being worth xyz amount of money. Times change I tell ya.Haymon is a genius though. He used other peoples money to overpay dudes he advised, kept them safe for as long as possible while building them up (spence,wilder,tank ), and took his cut. Final move would be for Haymon to sell PBC for some huge amount as the boxing landscape looks like it's going to diminish going forward

Just makes PBC look even stupider. So they signed canelo to a 3 fight deal and gave him a list of opponents that would qualify him for his guarantee. Jermall was on the list. David was not(how the fukk)
....PBC has no leg to stand on. Period. Which is why they let canelo walk with no push back. PBC tried to renege on the deal they made and canelo told them to fukk off. Canelo delivered on the numbers for them and in return they should have stuck to their word. But of course they lost their showtime deal and no longer have the same budget anymore. But once again. But it's not surprising we have posters defending PBC not honoring Canelo's full guarantee. These the same posters that defended PBC offering bud ZERO guarantee
....y'all will defend anything PBC does at this point. These types of shady practices are why PBC is gonna be history soon.

And the reason they didn't have Benavidez as an opponent initially should be pretty obvious to anyone paying attention.. They don't have the $55m guarantee to put in an escrow account especially after him and Plant flopped on ppv. He already would be taking a short vs Charlo with the $35m because if you remember initially the deal they offered was Charlo for $45m in 2022.. Now if I'm using my imagination I'm sure Canelo told them "Damn Al, yesterday's price REALLY aint todays price huh?"
