he beat the shyt outta wilder again and is going into an undisputed fight
I was referring to the outcome of the arbitration process than the outcome of the fight. lol
he beat the shyt outta wilder again and is going into an undisputed fight
So let me ask you this - once Spence activated the rematch clause, was Bud free to negotiate with other fighters? If not, then he was locked in to the rematch, was he not?
Come on man, use your head
He's been a pro for 8 years. Turned pro in 2016 and has fought absolutely no one. That's almost a decade as a pro fighter and doesn't has fought aboslute one sided competition.Firstly, Ennis didn’t mandate the Crawford fight, the IBF did.
And what is this 8 years you’re talking about?
He fukked your girl right? That’s what this is about? That’s the only way this makes sense lol.
He didn't vacate, he was stripped because Spence activated his rematch clause. This is something that has been pointed out to you in this thread multiple times.
Why did the IBF strip Crawford of the title? We have (some) answers
Mike Coppinger explains the IBF's decision to strip Terence Crawford of the title, why it was awarded to Jaron Ennis, and more.www.espn.com.au
This is not true.
Spence opts to trigger Crawford rematch clause
Errol Spence Jr. has activated his rematch clause to set up another fight with rival Terence Crawford, who scored a dominant victory in their July showdown.www.espn.com.au
Just in case anyone thinks I have an axe to grind here, I'm a Spence fan and picked him to win against Crawford.
I picked Crawford from the jump, but I’m surprised at the level of hyperbole for someone that wants to take a year off after gathering undisputed?I wasn't going to say anything but this is 100% truth. I've noticed the dudes that picked Spence to win have the most to say
Vacated, stripped, removed, same shyt, call it whatever you want.
Oh... ok?call it for what it is.
Nope.He would be locked in for the rematch AFTER HE SIGNED IT!
Even if Crawford wished to fight Ennis rather than take part in a far bigger matchup against someone like Alvarez, he would have to face Spence after the latter exercised the rematch clause in August.
Unlike the other three sanctioning bodies, the IBF doesn't recognize rematch clauses as an exception to a mandatory defense, so Crawford was stripped with the title handed to Ennis.
No, he literally couldn't. See above..he could have explored other options in the past 6 months
Probably for the bestthis will be my last statement
dawg you loud and wrongI could go on and on with this but this will be my last statement because its going away from my intial point and into diffrent arguments where alot could be discussed and it would just drag on.
He would be locked in for the rematch AFTER HE SIGNED IT!....he could have explored other options in the past 6 months, which he didn't do and like he said was taking trips. He also downplayed alot of the fighters that were good options for him for the past 6 months so i don't know who he would be negotiating with. Reality is that he got a big buzz off that Spence win, nobody really cared for the rematch and they never signed a contract for the rematch.
at the height of the triple gawd hate, ppl were making fun of the fact that Brook was getting off his shots on him until it was made clear GGG nearly blinded him permanently
its still a gotdamn shame..in the right world Brook takes the zero and IBF belt from Porter and goes into an undisputed fight with Floyd after Pac..a fight he earned too..not fukking Andre Berto
