'Professional' .
I see this shyt in the masters/amateur competitions all the time. Old timers with a little mid/late life crisis, get a little pep in their step after taking the sport up late, get fit, gassed up etc.
But they never have the reactions, punch resistance or correct evasive/defensive mechanics. . Not knocking them for trying, but this sport is kinda stupid like that.
Just train and spar perhaps? Nothing wrong with just doing body shots only sparring. Get all the fitness and can rip shots and learn defensive mechanics etc.I'm 37 and I badly want to do a boxing exhibition at like 125 pounds or so but I know it's bad idea.
I know it's just better that I wait and hope I'm reincaranted than start this late.

If you really keen to fight, maybe have at least 5 sparring sessions at your gym or at competing gyms. A good coach will know if it's a good idea to compete or not.
Underrated? Lol. It's essential.Defense is the most underrated aspect of boxing and no one can convince me otherwise.
Teo Vs Matias either in NYC or Puerto Rico.
I'd pay to see that.
The boxing gods are being good to me.
