I really feel like Shawn Porter needs to set aside time each week to watch a lot of old fights, and study the history of boxing to be a more effective analyst. He doesn’t necessarily need to study the old days, but at the bare minimum the 90s.

He articulates himself well, but if you know boxing, he sounds stupid at times.

I really feel like Shawn Porter needs to set aside time each week to watch a lot of old fights, and study the history of boxing to be a more effective analyst. He doesn’t necessarily need to study the old days, but at the bare minimum the 90s.

He articulates himself well, but if you know boxing, he sounds stupid at times.

Feels like if he didn't come up with you in the amateurs or didn't come up directly behind him working with his pops he doesn't watch you all that closely

It also irritates me that all young fighters are compared to Mayweather, as if there are no other fighters from the past to compare these guys to.
