The leading rumors is amazon prime. Regardless id be interested to see how many years the deal is for. TR will be in the same boat in 3-4 yrs when theier contract ends and Disney is bleeding with ESPN and the other stuff

Top Rank will be fine for the time being. The real question is, what will happen with Golden Boy? Not sure how long his deal with DAZN is but they're going to have to figure something when it comes to an end.

Golden boy needs to merge or something. I think we will get to ta point where streaming companies are going to want frequent Boxing cards at low cost + monthly PPV almost like a UFC model. TR doesn't have any big names so all their cards tend to be affordable especially with the venue deals they have but who knows how much money they lost during the Bud days, and I`m not quite sure if they are making things up from these Tyson Fury mega deals which could be why everyone lets Tyson do what he wants

Prime Alone has 3-4x the subs as Showtime. I`m wondering if prime will be for all non PPVs and then keep PPVs on show time
Yeah... I pointed it out last week that Prime is second to Netflix in the streaming service business, so it would be perfect for both sides. Prime stays putting up ads for shows and upcoming sporting events.

I just turned it to Prime to see what would pop up. After a John Wick 4 ad, there was an ad for Thursday Night Football between the Jags and Saints.

PBCs problem will be fighter activity. Too many top tier dudes sitting on the shelf for one reason or another. And where's their up and coming new talent?

-Before Spence fought Crawford he was on the shelf for 15 months.
-Danny Garcia hasn't fought in 14 months
-Keith Thurman hasn't fought in 20 months.
-Deontay Wilder hasn't fought in 12 months
-Jermell hadn't fought in 16 months before her fought Canelo. Granted he was hurt.
-Jermall hasn't fought in 28 MUTHAfukkIN' MONTHS

That's top active talent that's not active.

And other than Ennis, Benevidez, and Martin, they don't have any other young talent to push. No one at 175, cruiser, or heavyweight.

That generation of fighter has gotten complacent with the mega pay days. What's wild is Canelo fought 3 times/almost 4 during his undisputed run.

They gonna have to re structure how deals are done. instead of fight by fait basis maybe x # fights per year depending on wear + backend for PPV level fighters (main and co main fighters).

I'd think top tier should act least be fighting 2-3 times with mid tier 3-4 times and prospects 4-5 times.

They did a nice job with turning Wilder and Tank into draws especially Wilder because I feel that was more their achievement than with Tank. They also did well with Spence, not a major star but pretty well known regardless

They need to up their game in discovering and signing top talent though, feels like they just couldn’t do that with their last generation. Morrell and Ennis are their best up-and-comers imo. There’s GAR as a dark horse too, though I wasn’t really impressed with his effort vs an ageing Postol.

PBC will be good....even Top Rank will be alright. PBC just put on a great year for boxing and TR got their moments. The real problem is that these companies like Paramount and Disney fukked up by making their own streaming platforms that lost them billions. Disney+ and Paramount+ were bad investments, which have hurt all of their programming not just boxing.

The real company in trouble is Matchroom...The hell is Eddie Hearn going to do once AJ retires and he haven't been able to pull off AJ vs Wilder....DAZN looking like its on it way out too :francis:
