Exactly. I remember an interview with Thurman a few years ago going in on Arum even cursing him out saying if he (Arum) was serious about a fight, to send a contract to PBC. Thurman even said he doesn't believe it's Crawford holding a fight up but Arum & he needed to break away from him. Nah I am not really feeling this. Crawford should know the game. If you want certain fights, you have to sign with the promoter that offers those fights. The man resigned with Top Rank back in 2018.

Beating Spence does not change the fact that his opposition has been lackluster. However, it all worked out in his favor. He's going to retire with a lot of money, his health in tact, and at the minimum undisputed in two weight classes despite the fact he has one of the worst resumes I have seen in an all time great.

If I were a fighter. I would love to have the same career.

It's not even just that bud won, it's how he did it that's killing em. It was an absolute annihilation. That shyt is going down in infamy. Truly the most shocking megafight in history. And solely because of how badly Spence got demolished. Bud left the entire sportsworld in disbelief. Now all you hear from the haters is excuses. They'll never admit they were wrong.
