He very well could. I have a feeling dude's chin won't hold up to someone that has any kind of decent punching power. He's gonna get clipped sooner or later. But Benavides can be out boxed because of his feet

As a person that advocates for the best fights, I'm actually surprised you have not been more critical of him.
You shyt on a lot of matchmaking, but you never quite did that with Terrance, despite the fact that he's been giving the boxing world underwhelming matches for years.

Andrade has stamina for days though unlike Plant and imo a better defense when he concentrates. The last part is what concerns me, he has problems with concentrating through 12 but if anywhere then here because stakes are higher now than ever for Andrade.
If Andrade can stifle his offense then this could easily become a “matchmaking gone wrong” situations where the rising star loses to the wily veteran
. Andrade has solid power just hasn’t got killer instinct. When guys get overly aggressive with him he knocks them down. Those guys were smaller than Benavidez so we’ll see but I ride with the upset too.

Fun fact: Andrade either knocked down or stopped each of his 7 opponents at 160 and he KD Nicholson too in his first fight at 168.
Obviously the level if these opponents was what it was… but it shows that he at least can keep guys honest with his power

He's a great starter. Imposes his size and left land leverage very well.
He's been out a long time now though.

Canelo been at the weights too long, so I expect Charlos power to be “normal” to “good” but not as devestating as it was at 154. I think this is why they want Charlo to come in ar 163/164 as they plan on leveraging his stamina and athleticism more so than power
