still hilarious ya'll repeat this nonsense when dude literally got a lawsuit on file that alleges Top Rank didn't do enough to get him the fights. never would have imagined thecoli would have nikkas aligning themselves with a crooked old cracker and the likes of Steve Kim but here we are...
You don’t have to align yourself with anyone just criticize all sides fair and square. Throwing in Steve Kim’s name like all PBC critique would associate you with that a$$hole :comeon:

shytting on PBC for freezing Bud out so long is justified cause it made us wait years to a fight that could have happened a long time ago.
“But the business of boxing…”, yeah I know, still from a fan viewpoint it’s valid to criticize. Not only PBC but them too, they had no willingness whatsoever to let Bud try to ruin their party, they wanted to marinate this as long as they could, Spence talked about the easy route and sides of the street, etc.

Bud criticized TR for being unable to make the fight but also said he was blackballed post fight in the ring so it’s not like he only shat on TR either.

what would you guys say is the reason for the proliferation of undisputed champs recently? There has only been 9 undisputed champs and in the 4 belt era and 7 of them have come since 2017 (Bud at 140). Bigger fights being made? And a lot of divisions are currently set up for more possible undisputed champs in the near future; heavyweight, light heavy, super bantam etc
Very good question. I think multiple factors: social media feuds and pressure + visible interest from fans on platforms like twitter, YT. Also probably the rise of UFC in the last few decades that tried and is still trying to “steal away” boxing fans on the basis of “best vs best” fights happening more often because the near moopoly they have over top talent in MMA. Boxing is decentralized but the industry had to react to that somehow so that might play into it too

Don't know what's so hard to understand about this. A copromoted fight requires two parties to agree to make the fight. TR being unable to fulfill a contractual obligation they agreed to work towards (and put money on the line in doing so) is not mutually exclusive from PBC freezing Bud out. In fact a freeze out would guarantee TR couldn't fulfill the obligation :russ:.

Spence out of his own mouth told us about sides of the street, easy routes, and finally that he had to shelve himself to force PBC to make the fight. What level of cognitive dissonance does one need to have to still be thinking it was TR holding this up :why:
