Unusual…I remember some big fights in the early 90s being on weekdays, but they started being on Fridays and mainly Saturdays at a certain point.

Holyfield was throwing MMA elbows
I had a 25 minute video of examples of fighters committing all the various fouls in boxing, but YT took down the channel.
I’ll try to track down some of the elbow examples I used. Eusebio Pedroza clips were used the most.

I remember using Bika twice in ”hitting opponents on the ground” section. One time he got DQ’d for it. Another time, on The Contender show, he hit Codrington 2 or 3 times when he was down.
But Terry Norris is still the all-time king of that category.

that mendy fight...he was going to end it in the first round but dude lost control and the ref didnt get to him fast enough...and mendy went on to face bute in a title fight he had no business in and got beat down...that era of 168 was so entertaining

Kevin Kelley was in some really exciting fights.
The Troy Dorsey fight was great, and maybe the best fight ever on USA’s Tuesday Night Fights.
Kelley’s first fight with Derrick Gainer was really good, as was the fight with Alejandro Gonzalez (although somewhat one-sided).
