End of the day Jack is another fight no one asked for. He has viable fights with good money and fan interest sitting right in front of him. The Charlo fight is a lay up he'll get full credit for and a winnable fight and it builds even more buzz for a Benavidez bout.

The one thing I ain't seen anyone here mention though is the fact the Jack fight is being negotiated by Saudis, for real not the fake Saudi negotiations a lot of boxers claim . If Canelo can get a mega payday from the Saudis for a fight he'll get no backlash for losing then I can't even hate . It still would be a fight no one asked for though

Let me give you a couple examples of fights nikkas asked for . nikkas went from Canelo wants no parts of Danny Jacobs or black fighters to flip flopping and pretty much writing that win off and claiming Jacobs ain't shyt...

They did the same with Plant.. If Canelo chose instead to fight Charlo nikkas would say he ducked Plant and ducked undisputed..

If Canelo chose to fight Charlo right now I can guarantee you they will call Charlo a cherry pick and he ducking Benavidez and Bivol.. They will say shyt like Charlo was too inactive thats why Canelo picked him as if Charlo being inactive is Canelo's problem when fans are still asking for the fight..

nikkas asked for the Lara fight when no notable fighters at 154 would fight Lara except for Canelo and Jared Hurd.. Gets no credit no taking that fight

That's just to name a few.. theres many more examples.. Canelo be making these nikkas puxxy bleed.. Im not referring to TheRing but social media in general. It's sad to watch

i think Jack is pretty much the only fighter where if you hear Saudis negotiating you know its legit...thats why theres such a strong reaction to this fight because that arab money is long and they will pay whatever amount of money needed to bring Canelo to Saudi arabia to fight a muslim world champion

Anyway, Canelo owes it to his own fans to give them a fight there is at least some anticipation for. fukk the haters but no one was even thinking about a Canelo vs. Jack fight much less desiring it. He already fought two bouts in a row his own fans didn't care about so I think it's reasonable for there to pushback. I'm not looking at this as a hater or even worrying about what he does or doesn't get credit for, just objectively speaking Canelo vs Jack is not a fight most people care about and there are other fights people would rather see him in.

on top of that..the same optics on makabu are basically the same with jack..makabu had an element of danger because he had power and could possibly rip canelo's head off with a shot...however if you watched makabu you know you are dealing with a guy with high mileage because of the wars he likes getting into..nevermind the fact he is not as known as other fighters so the side eye was needed

jack is the same...jack has mileage..he's had wars..the only difference is jack is not a big puncher like makabu was but he's a far better boxer though...he is also almost 40 so it doesnt look good for a fighter like canelo who has more attractive options

Personally I only want David or Charlo in September. Yea badou would be tough but canelo gotta stop playing with his weight. If it's Charlo then have David and morell around the same time. Then the winners faceoff in may. If it's David then have Charlo vs andrade.
