man Shawn Porter gotta do like 5 minutes of research before he brings people on to interview em. dude asked Alycia Baumgardner if she moved on from her previous trainers before Tony Harrison took over, not knowing that she was trained by Harrison's father that died from Covid. Carson Merk had to jump in and save him.

He’s part of this new generation of fighters that don’t know anything about their profession. I had to unsubscribe from that garbage podcast.

It’s strange, but those fighters that took pride in knowing the history of the sport are gone.

Creed faces his toughest challenge yet, against a nygga that did 18 fukking years in prison, gets out in his late thirties, and decides to make a run at the title within 12 months of boxing career.

You can tell these nyggas don’t watch boxing and will just write anything.

Hell if you’re gonna use this storyline, why not use someone like Hopkins as the blueprint who did 4 years? Why 18 years?

It’s because he has a professional demeanor. However, once you actually listen to him over time you just realize he doesn’t know shyt.

He knows boxing when it comes to his peers and guys he actually fought, but outside of that he doesn’t know much about boxing.

Because it doesn’t make any logical sense. Not only that, you don’t even gotta make it that extreme to pull off the story.

Or you could do it like James Scott. He was the #1 ranked LHW contender (in a strong era at 175) while serving his sentence.

He was training and having fights against top contenders like Eddie M. Muhammad & Dwight M. Qawi in Rahway Prison.

Rather than serving almost 20 years in prison and then becoming a pro boxer.

He's kind of a hater too, low key.
