shyt wasn't the same at all, Mungia vs Charlo was gonna be on regular Showtime, DAZN didn't even make an offer for the fight and then DLH killed the fight at the last minute by trying to turn the shyt into a DAZN/Showtime joint PPV. DLH doing that silly shyt is probably why he reportedly hasn't been involved in the Tank/Garcia negotiations.

What about GB and DAZN having a signed partnership cant you understand? In order for that fight to happen it needed to be joint collaboration which Showtime was unwilling to do..munguia can agree to the purse, venue, glove size, etc.. it doesn't change the facts that he's a dazn fighter..oscar not being involved in the tank garcia negotiations anf the fight STILL not getting made should tell you what the issue is.. Spence vs Bud couldn't get made when he was with Arum.. cant get made after he left Arum.. Haney was a free agent doing fight by fight partenership deals with DAZN and he couldn't even get Tank n his people in a room to even talk about making a fight. The common denominator of big fights not getting made remains PBC/Showtime when they refuse to collaborateDLH wanted to do a joint PPV, Showtime didn't want to do PPV at all, think of the history of joint PPVs in boxing history and ask yourself where would Mungia vs Charlo fit into that? Showtime not wanting to make a Charlo v Munguia ppv is funny to me in the light when they have no problem making Ortiz v. Charles Martin.. Thurman v. Barrios..Spence v. Ugas... Tank v. Rolly... Ruiz v. Ortiz...Wilder v. Helenius all on ppv... The history of joint ppvs in boxing shows those were the only way to get big fights made with fighters contractually commited to different networks.. you sound silly trying to seperate DLH from Gold Boy as if they aren't in unison, Oscar is the founder, chairman, and CEO of GB
None of these were on Showtime, Showtime does not equal PBC, this is exactly the goofy shyt I be talking about. Tyson vs Lewis was a joint PPV, Mayweather vs Pac was a joint ppv, Mungia vs Charlo is a great fight but doesn't require a joint PPV because it ain't generating that type of money, anybody without an agenda knows that. And no, I'm not equating DLH as solely Golden Boy when other folks are far more involved with matchmaking and negotiations, DLH is still the same dude that had no idea that all those Haymon fighters were not directly tied to GB when they were able to bounce when PBC was formed.

Nah, I get where you coming from. Ever since Thurman tried to lil man him when he was asking for a fair shot, Spence hasn't wanted anything to do with him. As far as it goes for Errol, Thurman can starve out here fight wise lol I wonder when EJ is coming back to fight. I assume in January.
