Might rewatch now but that sounds a bit exaggerated. Haney was hurt in the round following the shot that got to him but he cleared for the last 2 rounds

I was watching close. I'd put $100 on Linares because i knew he had a chance for the stoppage (underrated) and the odds were ridiculous.
I was trying to ride it home. Haney was definitely in a bad place.
But he's a pro so he did what a pro does and stymied Linares from getting much off exceptionally well.

Linares knew he had him in those last rounds, he tried get a bunch of shots off but Haney controlled it, to his credit. Linares was so furious at the end of the fight due to the holding that he didn't even want to shake hands, because it was literally the difference between a W and an L.
To Linares credit he went to the dressing rooms afterwards and congratulated Haney on a great win.

Thats why he taunted Dev after he landed the ONE good shot. He was frustrated the whole time.

I watched the entire fight multiple times. He was buzzed at the VERY LAST SECOND of the round by ONE good shot that would have dropped 99% of his opponents. Dev already had the fight won so he just played it safe and secured the victory.At no point was he about to lose thats the dumbest take ive ever heard. Dev wiped the floor with that man. You must have only watched clips.

Impossible to tell how hurt he really was when he got rocked at the end of the round but you can clearly see Haney is pretty cognizant in the 11th when he turned to talk to the ref about getting hit in the head. Maybe his legs were shaky cause he never got caught like that before but his head was totally there and he navigated those final two rounds pretty easily imo
