I'm the greatest, something like Ali in his prime
here's another pic..i dont know if the clothes are kinda maximizing it but zurdo looks like a full blown heavy in this shyt

He needs to take his big ass up to Heavyweight. He's the Jarrett Hurd of LHW. He's getting by on a size advantage.

It increasingly seems like Hearn is done with the US scene except if it's Canelo and now doing a lot of business and PR work for these human rights abusing dictatorships.
I always say none of these promoters are saints and I'm no PBC stan but I respect Haymon for not doing business with the Saudis/UAE/Qatar unlike Hearn and Bob. Principles gotta come before profit-maximization idc what anybody tells.

A world where principles always take a back seat to profit is a shytty world and humanity starts to find out more and more by the year, as we slowly cook ourselves because ppl can't take as much as in the last year, always more and more, eventually totalling the planet. I ventured off a bit but point stays, Hearn can :camby:for assisting to the sport washing of these fundamentalist dictatorships.
The U.S have some of the worst human rights abuses in human history. A lot of countries are going to have human rights abuse history but the fights have to take place somewhere and it’s often going to be where the most money is. It’s historically happened in the past and will continue to do so. It’s not due to some being saints and others not, some aren’t capable of doing it because they don’t have the pull, relationships or global fighters. Matchroom are a global powerhouse and they are making a lot of money and have big assets. They are heavily involved in numerous other sports not just boxing too.

What Eddie is doing is extremely smart in terms of business and he and they are thinking of business and not what people say. They are getting paid big money and he’s getting the fighters involved big money and money talks so it’s going to be lucrative and attractive to fighters and it’s gonna make big fights happen there. It’s a 5 year agreement they’ve done with Abu Dhabi and the budget is big. Look at what’s happening with the Liv in Golf, some big names are now playing on that tour due to the money and financial security they can gain there. In a career such as boxing which is so dangerous many fighters understandably want to secure their future. Gerald McCellan having to do benefits and try crowdfunding to pay for his medical expenses. The least amount of fighters in those type of situations the better. For many their primary income is when they fight.

Matchroom will go wherever the money is and also expand on different countries and territories. They have an Australia show later in the year and are going to be doing shows there. While the human rights issues are valid there’s corruption and abuses mostly everywhere. U.S is far from human rights utopia historically or now.

Jojo Diaz is fighting Zepeda on Nov 5? That's another real fight him for him. Showing more balls than Ryan, Tank, and Teo combined..he didn't run or hide from Haney like everyone else did.

The USA & UK are Saudi's biggest Allies with majority of the Gulf states, period. If haymon had a connection over there he would run to that place and make huge money!
Criticising human right issues from an American & United Kingdom point of view is a bit hypiocritical.
there are things that eddie is doing that can be criticized but the saudi thing to me is a non issue..we know what the deal is...arabs are breaking him off with money and oscar, whose promotion is rebuilding and trying to keep it above water, is more than happy to lend a fighter of his over for a money injection into GBP..im just happy its not a fukking DAZN PPV lol

I'm not talking about foreign relations but I agree that Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states being the allies of the US and UK is a bad look.
The USA, the UK have their own dirty stuff, no doubt, but in present day these dictatorships are on a whole other level than Western countries when it comes to human rights abuse.

For example:
You and the media can pretty much freely criticize your government while if some of these dudes who live there do so they are imprisoned or even executed

Women can wear whatever they fukk they want in your country, these countries with their radical version of islam treat them like inferior beings, greatly restricting their private lives
You took some drugs? Good luck spending years, rotting in a prison cell. Hell, you can't even get lit in some of these countries :what:

So there are levels to this, read more here: Ten ways that Saudi Arabia violates human rights

For the record I don't have problems with each and every citizen of these countries, there are many normal ppl living there too.
These are really is just showcase sportwashing events for their corrupted elites if this would be about common citizens there the even wouldn't be held in UK prime time which is 1am there.
There is usually zero atmosphere at these Middle-Eastern shows anyway and the scheduling makes it all the worse.

Eddie Hearn could make these fights in the US or UK and still everyone involved would pocket big money but he bends down for that extra the sheiks throw at him, he is who he is...

The human rights criticisms are valid but U.S for example the history of slavery is diabolical, recently had Trump as president too. Not sure in a position to look down on anywhere else with U.S history. And the money is more in those other places cause they want the fights, the fighters are getting a lot more than they would in U.K, that's why they going. It's all about money. it's just a business and they going with the highest bidders. I do agree need also to have shows in U.K and U.S too and other places, can't just all go with money or it completely takes the sport away from some major territories, but if this money is gonna secure some fighter's lives and futures in such a dangerous sport which is a short term thing I can't be mad at them either. Some of this money for some of them is life changing.
