An all time great war marred in tragedy
Yeah everything after that fight is just downright sad for both parties involved

The aftermath of Kid Akeem was depressing enough at it was. Then for Quiroga to be murdered in an argument over a damn Scarface poster is just awful.

I remember reading some old article where it said the price of that fight on PPV was only $10 (I used the scrambler back then). They called it the best “bang for your buck” PPV fight ever.

I had Canelo vs Bivol as a 50/50 fight.. and he only lost cause he gassed early. People picked them to win and they were the favorites mostly because of their body of work leading up to those fights... Which is why you should be asking yourself why they aren't picking Spence.. because if he has fought the "best" like you claim then he would be the heavy favorite.. The truth is.. Spence aint fought the best and has one of the most overrated resumes in boxing of all active fighters.. His best win is literally Kell Brook coming off a KO loss + injuries dropping down from 160 LOL...
Horn beat Pacquiao hype or not and Bud stopped him his 1st fight at 147... guys like Spence and Porterwoulda went the distance vs Horn... it must hurt to realize Nobody Spence fought at 147 would go the distance with Bud

You post Lamont Peterson. A guy who made his bones at 140, who's best performance is a loss to Danny Garcia, who we now knows can't compete with anyone worth a damn at 147.

You would have been better off showing what he did to Brook.
Peterson was robbed against Garcia, we all know he won that fight. Spence beat the hell out of/altered the career of both. Going into both fights cats were saying either gentleman would be a significant test for Spence

I call bullshyt on the Peterson fight for no other reason than him being too small. I knew he would get hurt.

And we watched One Time absolutely take Garcia to school. So anyone with a brain for boxing should have known how the Garcia/Spence fight would go.

I'm not clowning either guy, I just think Spence is that good.

Okay... I'm kinda clowning Garcia because he's never been good to me. His biggest win is still Lucas Matthyse. :heh:

They always rewrite history. Ugas was supposed to be a challenge for Spence too. Mikey was supposed to box his ears off.

the biggest thing about the peterson fight was if peterson was going to show up on low T or super T status...other than that spence was the overwhelming favorite in that fight thread

danny garcia was because that was the first fight after the drunken car crash spence put himself through..without that factor most would have picked spence to beat him...in fact most ppl did anyways :heh:

The full undercard has been revealed for the next ProBox TV show.
The previously announced headliner pits rising junior welterweight Cesar Francis (10-0, 6KOs) against former lightweight titlist Raymundo Beltran (37-9-1, 23KOs) on the July 9 show from ProBox Events Center in Plant City, Florida. In the televised co-feature, German heavyweight Christian Thun (8-0, 6 KOs) is set it to return in an eight-round bout against Curtis Harper (13-8, 9 KOs).
Thun tops off an undercard portion that will feature several talents on the rise. The main card will be streamed live globally on ProBox TV beginning at 7:00 p.m. PT/4:00 p.m. ET.
Thun is a native of Ennepetal, Germany who debuted as a professional in March 2018. The 30-year-old puncher has since remained undefeated in eight fights, maintaining a 75% knockout ratio in the process by scoring wins in different parts of the world, including Monaco, Spain, the United States and in his home country. Thun is ready to continue making wave in his fourth pro fight on American soil against the battle-tested Harper.
The following undercard bouts are also scheduled to take place:

  • Rising contender Brandon Glanton (15-0, 12 KOs) of Atlanta, Georgia will take on DeShon Webster (12-5-3, 6 KOs) of Lenexa, Kansas in an eight-round cruiserweight bout.

  • Julio Solis (7-0, 6 KOs) of Caguas, Puerto Rico will fight Christian Otero (4-1, 2 KOs) of New York City in a super featherweight battle scheduled for six rounds.

  • Marques Valle (4-0, 4 KOs) of Lutz, Florida will face off against Shawn West (7-2-1, 4 KOs) of Davenport, Iowa in a six-round battle in the welterweight division.

  • Dominic Valle (3-0, 3 KOs), brother of Marques, will return in a four-round featherweight tilt against Manuel Guzman (8-5-1, 5 KOs) of Managua, Nicaragua.

  • Middleweight prospect Darrelle Valsaint (4-0, 3 KOs) of Orlando, Florida will participate in a six-round fight.

a curtis harper sighting :heh:..and why in the hell is brandon glanton fighting on this card...you telling me PBC couldn't have brought him back after giving them the best PBCon FOX fight since charlo-harrison 2? to even rematch Apochi on a PPV or something?

I thought Ugas would have done a better job with his jab to kinda keep Errol thinking.

Not saying I thought Ugas would win. I just thought he would be more competitive. And because Ugas had absolutely no power, Errol was able to walk through him like he was able to walk through Garcia and Peterson.
