Showtime Announces 9 PBC Shows From March 26-July 9; Includes 7 Title Fights

Showtime and Premier Boxing Champions announced a much-discussed spring and early-summer schedule Tuesday.
The loaded slate of fights includes seven PBC cards that’ll air live on Showtime and two Showtime Pay-Per-View events, which will feature Errol Spence Jr. and Gervonta “Tank” Davis. From March 26 through July 9, the PBC/Showtime schedule will be highlighted by seven world championship matches, including two title unification fights, and three title eliminators.
Davis, Spence, David Benavidez, twins Jermell and Jermall Charlo, Stephen Fulton Jr. and rising star Jaron Ennis are among the 21 undefeated fighters who will be showcased as part of the aforementioned cards.
“It’s a good time to be a boxing fan and a Showtime viewer, with so many high-level, consequential matchups on our schedule,” Stephen Espinoza, Showtime’s president of sports and event programming, said in a press release. “We continue to grow the sport at every level, from our grassroots series, ‘ShoBox,’ to the crowning of unified and undisputed champions across boxing’s deepest divisions. When you consider the competitive nature of these fights, plus the star power – Errol Spence Jr., ‘Tank’ Davis, the Charlo brothers – and the youthful vitality – Stephen Fulton Jr., Jaron Ennis, Brandun Lee – it’s never been clearer that Showtime is the destination for the most compelling fights and will be for years to come. This Showtime boxing lineup is, hands down, the most potent of any network or platform in 2022.”

I can't even blame Charlo for this stay busy fight.
It does suck for him because I know he wants to get it in at 160 before going to 168 but being that PBC 168 not doing jack shyt so....why even move up?
Whichever sanctioning body he's the mandatory at, should strip him of his rankings, this is PATHETIC.
In fact, in boxing, unless the champion is unifying or fighting a rematch, you as the mandatory should only be given ONE fight before you HAVE to fight the belt holder.
