The agreed-upon WBA “World” welterweight title fight between Russia’s Butaev and Lithuania’s Stanionis is confirmed to land on the April 16 Showtime Pay-Per-View event headlined by the three-belt unification bout between IBF/WBC champ Errol Spence (27-0, 21KOs) and WBA “Super” titleholder Yordenis Ugas (27-4, 12KOs). Butaev-Stanionis is one of four fights to appear on the PPV telecast, though with direct ties to the main event with a guaranteed shot at the Spence-Ugas winner at stake.

Well if Crawford is serious then he can petition to fight for the WBO eliminator against Tszyu at 154, since the WBO is up next I’m thinking. Then he will be guaranteed the winner unless they vacate the WBO upon winning.

But Crawford is content to sit back and wait for the Spence fight it seems which is frustrating. He should be having a fight on the horizon or something. His business sense don’t seem to be the best.

fukk all this going up to 154 to fight Castano/Mell winner. 154 too physical for a nikka that was going life and death with Porter and almost went the distance with Benavidez. Fringe guys like Conwell and Fundora would be tough outs for Bud, let alone the top 5.
