Pops Andrade was on Boxing Voice yesterday and once again clarified that there was never an actual fight agreed upon with Mell. Even then, $7 million for a unification and a possible rematch afterwards? Also, they texted Montiel's manager and he said there's no way the fight gets approved by the WBO.

I just wanna see the fight Andrade's like "if I win or lose, let's see who wins". Charlo's keeping the division from being closer to undisputed.

Seems like invalidates whatever he says. There’s reporting from everywhere of this and two people not gone be this mad over it for this long. Also he did similar shyt with Lara. You reap what you sow. Still hope the fight gets made though.

I don't like the way Charlo is moving but this is silly, there are 4 different belt holders and 2 of them fight on the same network under the same promoter. GGG vs Andrade should have been made, that's an in-house unification fight that should get done. Also, both Andrade and Stephen Espinoza have confirmed that Andrade had a Showtime offer to fight Charlo when his DAZN deal expired. He re-uped with DAZN because, in Andrade's own words, who else would pay him that money to fight the Luke Keelers.

I don't like the way Charlo is moving but this is silly, there are 4 different belt holders and 2 of them fight on the same network under the same promoter. GGG vs Andrade should have been made, that's an in-house unification fight that should get done. Also, both Andrade and Stephen Espinoza have confirmed that Andrade had a Showtime offer to fight Charlo when his DAZN deal expired. He re-uped with DAZN because, in Andrade's own words, who else would pay him that money to fight the Luke Keelers.

Andrade has a habit of saying goofy shyt in his interviews which is why these guys need PR DAZN has 160 on lock so I don't blame him for trying to get GGG and Canelo over Charlo because he'd get shyt on even worse with the way PBC fighters move.

Pops said the same thing about Lara. There were preliminary talks but there was never an offer. I take all this shyt with a grain of salt because we saw Mall go from "Ima get him, he's horrible" to "fight Montiel first" within 48 hours

I was also listening to the "Pug and Copp" podcast with Lance Pugmire and Mike Coppinger, but that's over now that Coppinger is leaving The Athletic. Not sure what his next move is.
