Mall looks dried out needs to move up
Not a good idea imo, thought he'd go up and beat Benavidez but after yesterday idk, seems like he can't hurt these bigger dudes and his defense ain't that much on point to not get tagged clean either. Stopped only 3 opponents out of the 7 he fought at 160, one of them a career 154er Hogan, also Heiland who badly injured his leg. The Centeno KO was brutal though but seems like a one off in hindsight.

He has enough power to not just get walked down without care but his power visibly diminished at 160.
He looked smaller than Montiel last night too, and though he was winning he looked a bit uncomfortable to me.
Maybe 168 wouldn't be a good idea, some of those guys are huge and if he can't tear apart these mid level 160ers idk how will he hurt them 168 guys.

That's a shame if those critiques have any value to them....would of been interesting to see him eventually get to Canelo and Benavidez.

Killers recognise killers. Japanese boxing resurgence has been great #monstersquad

Yeah. With Nakatani up next. I can’t think of a better time for Japanese boxing. Ioka is also no joke and Tanaka will be back as well.

I watched a documentary on how in the Meji era of Japan (1850s- to early 1900s) the Japanese took everything western and discarded a lot of their old ways. They struggled with it at first, adopted to it and then mastered or improved upon it. The same could be said about boxing in Japan (for the lower weight classes)

Just to add....they also did it for guns, cars, railroads...and boxing gloves, Winning.
