So why couldn’t Crawford vs Manny get made?

cause manny asked for his biggest purse since the floyd fight
I'm wondering now if Manny was sitting because the money he wanted wasn't available for any other fight unless he was willing to fight Spence
Gotta give Haymon credit, he wasn't flying to Macau to get Manny $20m for some mid fight

This is called PRIZE fighting. Knowing the purses is part of the game.

:mjlol:Why are you being a little hoe about it? In fact why are you in this thread? The majority of the discussions are on the business of boxing.

Memo Heredia Looking To Add More Power To Ugas For His Upcoming Fight

Yordenis Ugas (26-4) recently arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada to begin camp for his return to the ring that is tentatively slated for July. The WBA "super" welterweight champ last fought in September when he defeated Abel Ramos via split decision.

There had been rumors of a unification with WBC/IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence, but that went up in smoke last week when it was announced that Spence finalized a deal to fight Manny Pacquiao in July.

Ugas’ team consists of trainer Ismael Salas and strength and conditioning coach Angel “Memo” Heredia who has been pleased with the early results of camp.

"Ugas’ camp is going well. This is our 5th fight together. We had a real good camp versus (Shawn) Porter and another good camp versus (Omar) Figueroa. This camp will be more specific for him,” said Heredia.

“Sometimes the way I do camps is based on what the coaches want and what the boxers want - like if they are trying to add more power. You also have to take into account the opponents and check out how good their conditioning is and what are their weaknesses. I set up a program where lifting is essential. We will concentrate on stamina, a lot of endurance and speed. Those are things that he will need for this and for all fights."

Regardless of the opponent, Heredia expects a great performance by Ugas.

With so much familiarity between each other, Heredia expects this to be one of the best camps has ever had.

"This is going to be a good camp. For sure it will be an even better camp than we had for our first camp together versus Porter. Ugas is a smart fighter and a strong fighter by nature. He is a big guy and we are having a good camp together that most likely will give us good results on fight night," Heredia told BoxingScene.com.
