Hopefully the world will see how much of a joke Arum is when it comes to promoting. For every significant fight he puts together, there will always be like 3 simpler ones that he fukked up on so its like you only get 25% productivity from dude.

Spence beats Pac and he's a HOF without division hopping.

Damn first Ortiz hoe that nikka out in Texas and now Spence taking the opp his promoter been dangling in front of him for the last 5 years. :hhh:

Bud gotta fight both them nikkas or Texas gonna own him at this point. :francis:

thats not my bag...i talk about the underachieving pbc 147 contingent and the ppl who believe this 147 generation isnt lackluster breh lol

the thurman stans can handle that other viewpoint

I mean if old man Pac runs through Spence ain't no debating that this generation of welters is :unimpressed:........I mean the high level shyt we've been seeing the last few years are either a couple of weights below 147 or a couple above. :manny:.

I'm rooting for Spence because I think it's better for boxing if he gets the win n it would make him a huge star but I won't be surprised at all if Pac takes away his jab and turns him at night.

I'm happy for Spence he earned this fukking oppurtunity to do what real great fighters do and beat the old man. Torches have to get passed, Thurman honestly should have done it first if he was so great, but he didn't. If Spence is a great fighter he should beat Pac. This should be like Oscar vs Chavez and Whittaker, Terry Norris vs Sugar Ray Leonard. @patscorpio I get your point when you said the new generation supposed to take out the old. Spence has to redeem this generation.
The Thurminator in me thinks An active Thurman who still had passion for the sport would have won but woulda coulda Shoulda :mjcry:

Spence is the man at 147 and beating Pac(idgaf about his age) should make him a household name , one of the biggest names in the sport and right behind Canelo P4P.

Algeri says his heart is with Pacquiao but if he was putting money down he'd bet Spence. Also says Manny has more one punch power and better defense but Spence's defense is underrated.

I think spence will show Manny a lot of respect early on. Manny still has enough power to hurt anybody and we've seen Spence stunned before. But Spence's physical strength is gonna get tougher for Manny as the fight goes on. This is gonna be a grueling fight for both guys. Could see it ending in KO either way.

I agree, it's a very physical fight for a 42 year old to take on.

Early going, Spence is going to pump that jab as he adjusts to Manny's foot speed. This is not going to be like the Mikey fight, where Spence only needs to take a step back to find himself out of danger. Manny is going to pepper the slower Spence early.

Fight changes pace as Manny tires and begins to find himself on the ropes more often, Spence hitting arms as much as he does the head or body. Manny's flurries coming sporadically throughout each round, we'll see how strong Spence's defense as he comes forward in the second half of the fight.

Manny has enough experience to survive. I know he hasn't had a fight beat out of him, but at 42, you never know. Maybe his body will finally tell him "enough!" and he'll stop trying to win.

If Spence can nab some early rounds, I could really see a one sided decision. Manny needs to bank those.

Curious to see how Manny deals with Errol's work rate and physicality in the later rounds. He ate heavy shots from Thurman, but I imagine it's going to be much more difficult for an older Pac to have to deal with the much more persistent pressure and punch output that Spence will presumably bring.

Pacquiao is gonna have to hurt Spence early to make him think twice about coming in. But even if Spence gets dropped I don't think that'll deter him from attacking. Spence is really a throwback fighter. One of the only fighters I really believe is willing to die in the ring. You're gonna have to put his ass out for him to stop coming after you. And Manny showed vulnerability in the 2nd half of that Thurman fight. He took some serious punishment. Especially against the ropes. He also took a lot of damage against margarito because of Margarito's physical strength. And I think Spence is even stronger.

Manny's best chance is to keep his ass off the ropes and use his faster foot speed to frustrate Spence. Keep giving Spence angles and making him reset. Spence can also be a sitting duck when his opponents throw in bunches. Which is gonna give Manny plenty of opportunities to let off his combinations. He just can't over confident and stay in the pocket too long.

It's gonna be interesting to see how the first couple rounds play out. I Think Spence should play it cool and try to break Manny down little by little. Those thudding blows will take a toll over time. If he comes out guns blazing from the start he could get caught with something. It's really tough to call right now. Manny is 42 but I also don't think Spence looked his best against Danny. He looked kinda frail and Danny was hitting him very clean in the later rounds. But he's been looking healthier lately. Like he's been able to regain a lot of the muscle he had pre accident.

Either way I think this is gonna be a great fight. With their styles it's pretty much impossible it won't be.

Spence’s workrate and stamina is something Manny has never seen..even in his prime. Should be intriguing.

As for Manny being 42 and him giving up like Mikey did after round 2? No chance..he took this fight because everyone kept saying he ducked Spence to fight Thurman...he'll keep coming. He'll never quit. But Spence will hit him in the body when he tries those angle combinations.

Hes def seen it in antonio margarito and that's just 154
Margarito is slow, prodding, and got lit up. Spence is better defensively, boxes a helluva lot better, better pressure, and is much more accurate..lol. cotto and manny made Margarito look absolutely silly. As did 37 year old mosley. Spence goes harder than that sluggish pace..lol.
