Showtime going the freakshow route now:flabbynsick:

You’re acting as if Showtime is above that

I find it interesting that triller allowed that to happen. You would think that Jake is their flagship fighter

Regardless, probably securing his services for a future fight with Floyd

PBC also made Brian Castano vs Patrick Teixeira
Tried to make Bud vs Porter, but Arum never made an offer.
Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna got canceled but he may fight Rolando Romero
Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant is probably next
I think Castano vs Teixeira was mandatory and Canelo is a single entity now, a free agent
You’re right in Garcia vs Fortuna though
I was glad that Porter is willing to fight Bud. In a few months we’ll see if TR’s matchmaker saying it doesn’t happen yet because they ask too mich money to have the fight w/o fans in Vegas or NY or it was just smoke and mirrors... if he ends up fighting someone other than Ortiz, Taylor vs Ramirez winner or Porter that should be called out though... not counting with irrealistic fights like Spence, Pac or Thurman.

How is it anyway that 73k ppl watched Canelo live in Texas but ppl can’t go to fights in Nevada and NY? Is the situation differs this much per state?

Yeah. There was never a national guideline for the states to follow, and I'm not even sure that the federal government has the power to enforce something like that anyways. So every state did their own thing.

The pandemic became politicized, and that's why we see these extremes. Republican states like Florida and Texas never had strict lockdowns, while Democrat states like California and New York did.
