De La Hoya Return Pushed To September, Holyfield-McBride in August

Triller Fight Club has pushed back and reshuffled a few of their planned fights.
Former six division world champion Oscar De La Hoya had previously announced a ring return for July 3. Triller has confirmed that date is now off, with De La Hoya's ring return being targeted for the month of September.
De La Hoya, 48-years-old and the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, has been out of the ring since 2008 - when he was dominated and stopped by Manny Pacquiao.
In the aftermath of that loss, De La Hoya retired from the sport and placed his full focus on growing Golden Boy.
De La Hoya's opponent, according to Triller, will be announced this summer.
Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield, the only person ever to win the world heavyweight title four times, will still return to the ring in a six round fight with Kevin McBride.
Their fight was initially scheduled to take place on June 5, as part of the pay-per-view undercard to Teofimo Lopez vs. George Kambosos.
Triller moved the Lopez-Kambosos card to June 19th, with Holyfield-McBride moved over to a different event being planned for a yet to be announced date in August.
Holyfield, 58-years-old, has been out of the ring since 2011 - when he stopped Brian Nielsen in ten rounds.
McBride, 48-years-old, is best known for ending the pro career of Mike Tyson in 2005. He's also been out of the ring since 2011, after suffering his third consecutive loss.
Fighters like George Foreman, Bernard Hopkins, and Archie Moore - each of whom fought to an old age without apparent ill effects - are the exception to the rule. Looking at some of Ali's better known opponents from what is often called "the golden age of heavyweight boxing," Dixon cites the early deaths and cognitive/neurological problems suffered by Joe Frazier (dead at age 67), Floyd Patterson (71), Jimmy Ellis (74), Ernie Terrell (75), Jimmy Young (56), and Jerry Quarry (53). Quarry's neuropsychologist said that his brain "looked like the inside of a grapefruit that has been dropped dozens of times.”
Dixon also recounts interviews he conducted with a wide range of fighters now suffering from CTE.
"I told my neurologist that sometimes I think about killing myself," Freddie Roach confessed. "He asked me why, and I said, ‘It’s just f----- difficult sometimes dealing with this sh!t.’”
Damage: Untold story brain damage boxing
People think boxers putting their life at risk in the ring is just a thing they say
This notion of going out on your shield is your family wont care about that in 20 years when you can barely function
The rest of the world wont even care past your last fight
Salute to the corners that save boxers from themselves

Truax got blanked 12-0, no need to put extra sauce on Truax "lighting someone up"this is what they all say. I think Caleb will give canelo problems early cause of his speed. But he still makes way too many mistakes for me to think he can last a full 12. Dude leaves himself so exposed when he exchanges. He still fights with the inconsistency of a prospect and he's 27 years old. One minute he looks great. Next minute he looks average. He may have more discipline than saunders but Billy didn't lose to canelo cause of lack of discipline he lost because he got broken down. Caleb Is faster on his feet but Billy still has better footwork. Caleb stays putting himself in harm's way cause he squares himself up too much. That's why truax was lighting his ass up.
Plant will look good early, but canelo's pressure and body work will have him huffing and puffing by round 6. He'll be sparked by the 10th. But wouldn't be surprised if this is the earliest stoppage for canelo since Fielding. Something tells me plant got a soft spot in his chin.
