A always gonna stay for the good fights, it's annoying how the sport works but still the best sport entertainment I get. :manny:
That means we gotta find better sources of entertainment. Boxing is like when marvel vs capcom infinity didnt have the xmen due to contract disputes...only its regular as fukk :hhh:
Terence crawford and spence not fighting....mm imagine a batman movie you couldn't get the joker because of some clauses :mjlol:

I have a feeling the second quarter on is going to heat up big time. If you noticed, Showtime, FOX, Top Rank, DAZN (for the most part) have been reluctant to release any real schedule. They’re all waiting for clearances on arena/stadium capacity to cement in the bigger fights IMO.

We’re definitely in a lull.

Austin Trout Calls For Adrien Broner Showdown

After a two year ring absence, Adrien "The Problem" Broner (34-4-1) returned to the ring on February 20th at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Broner won a unanimous decision over the unheralded Jovanie Santiago (14-1-1) of Puerto Rico in a Showtime televised main event. The final scores were 116-111, 117-110 and 115-112 - but many observers thought the fight was closer and could have even been a draw or a close decision victory for Santiago.

The 31-year-old Broner was understandably rusty after the layoff and after the fight said that he would like to be more active and fight two more times this year.

Former super welterweight champion Austin "No Doubt" Trout (33-5-1) was an interested observer of the fight. After the fight ended he took to social media and called out Broner.

The 35-year-old Trout announced his move to the welterweight division last year. He has fought twice near the welterweight limit and has gone 2-0 with 1 knockout. His last ring appearance was on February 6th when he outpointed Juan Garcia 99-91 on all three cards in Mexico.

He would like his next fight to be much bigger and is hoping to face Broner.

"It looked like he was off for two years. Now he got that out of the way so why not take a fight with me and show the fans it's real? I've made 147 twice now and we can rumble at that weight no problem," Trout told BoxingScene.com.

Broner's victory was his first since his split decision victory over Adrian Granados in 2017. He went 0-2-1 in between the victories over Granados and Santiago.
