STRONGEST
Sakio Bika: He’s one tough son of a bytch! Sakio Bika was tough. That’s the only time I’ve been really bashed. I had six stitches from a head butt, there were shoulders, elbows, everything going in. I hit him with everything, couldn’t hurt him. This was the fight after Jeff Lacy. Physically strong guy.

this was a wonderful fight :ohlawd:..fukk joe calzaghe :birdman:

He's one UK fighter I dislike with a passion lol. Clowned Roy in their fight like he was doing something which pissed me off :russ:

He wanted no part of Roy (or James Toney/Bernard Hopkins/even Tarver) anywhere near their prime. And even then he got dropped by the ghost of Roy in that fight :wow:

If there's fans allowed I might make the trip :patrice:

I had tickets for his fight last March but it got cancelled cuz of Covid :unimpressed:

If you do let me know, I'm thinking about going myself.

if it is live i might see about going...depending on how things are - climate wise with covid

i had a good streak of going to at least 1 live boxing event since 2012..and the fact i havent been to one since december 2019 is awful

i miss my boxing getaways :wow:

John Jackson May Finally Head To Trial on Rape Charge

Former 2008 Olympian John Jackson, 31-years-old, has spent nearly two years in a Puerto Rican jail on charges of child pornography and rape.

Jackson has pleaded not guilty to 11 criminal charges - including first-degree rape, five counts of aggravated second-degree rape, two counts of production of child pornography and three counts of transportation of a minor with intent to engage in sexual activity.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, Jackson's trial date has been delayed. It was recently pushed back to February 8th.

On Friday, U.S. District Court Judge Robert Molloy set a date of February 2 for the pre-trial conference.

Back in February of 2019, Jackson was arrested by V.I. Police after the father of a 15-year-old girl said Jackson gave his daughter alcohol and marijuana brownies and then raped her.

He was initially released on bond. Jackson was later arrested after investigators found a video he allegedly made of himself having sex with the victim - leading to a charge of federal child pornography.

Since then, Jackson has been charged with assaulting two other girls, who came forward with claims of their own.

Its obvious Pac wants the winner of Spence vs Bud... They can go fight Ugas now for the WBA world belt if they cant come to an agreement

Obvious based on what?

Only thing he appears to care about is getting paid.

I’m willing to bet his next opponent is based on whether Freddie “likes” the fight for him.

basically
only proves that he does what he wants when he wants
interesting to see ppl get frustrated with him moving the way he wants now when it was all kinds of conspiracy theories around why he didn't fight crawford :sas1:
no one ducked manny. he's 40+ yr old , out of his prime and only making fights he can get a bag from without risking :deadmanny:
clear then clear now

All these fighters only care about getting paid.. thats why they chasing a middle aged man in his 40s to try to use him as a bargaining chip(instead of facing each other).. Im glad he dont fight either of them.. Freddy is not even mannys head trainer.. Manny dont even talk to him :mjlol:

Adam Lopez vs. Jason Sanchez in Play For February 13 Card
By Francisco Salazar

Published On Tue Jan 12, 2021, 11:39 AM EST

Featherweight prospect Adam Lopez will face former world title challenger Jason Sanchez on February 13, a source told BoxingScene over the weekend.

The 10-round bout will take place at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and will air on an ESPN platform, whether opening the live ESPN telecast (10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT) or ESPN+. The Lopez-Sanchez fight will precede the main event bout between light heavyweight contenders Joe Smith and Maxim Vlasov, with the vacant WBO world title on the line, and the lightweight bout between former IBF lightweight titleholder Richard Commey and once-beaten Jackson Marinez.

Lopez (14-2, 6 knockouts), who resides in the Los Angeles suburb of Glendale, last fought on June 11, defeating Luis Coria by majority decision.

In his previous fight in November 2019, the 24-year-old took a major step-up in opposition, losing by knockout in round 7 to current junior lightweight contender Oscar Valdez after scoring a knockdown earlier in the fight. Lopez was originally scheduled to fight Coria that night, but faced Valdez on a day’s notice after Valdez’s original opponent, Andres Gutierrez, weighed 11 pounds above the contracted weight.

Lopez’s other notable fight was a majority-decision loss to Stephon Fulton, who will be challenging WBO junior featherweight titleholder Angelo Leo. He is currently trained by James ‘Buddy’ McGirt.

Sanchez (15-2, 8 KOs), who resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico, lost by unanimous decision to Puerto Rico’s Christopher Diaz in his last bout on June 23. The fight came almost eight months after Sanchez knocked out gatekeeper Adeilson Dos Santos of Brazil in round 4.

Back in June 2019, Sanchez challenged Valdez, who then held the WBO featherweight title, losing by unanimous decision.

The Lopez-Sanchez fight is an intriguing crossroads clash with the winner becoming a legitimate contender at 126 pounds.
