Toney not getting HOF first ballot is Revenge of the Nerds and absolutely nothing else. This is why these awards and Halls across all sports are ultimately trivial.
Ward got in over Toney as a warning to all young fighters to make sure you stay mild mannered, don't speak up, and treat the old white men nicely.
I am NOT coming at Ward with that statement. Ward is just a very respectable, well-mannered, thoughtful dude by nature (and that should be praised, he's a very good due). However, that doesn't stop the writers from applying their "one of the good ones" logic to he versus Toney.

nikkas gotta start time stamping these shyts, cuz I be too zooted to remember half the shyt I be saying, especially with all the jokes and fukkery.
I had to listen to it again. The part is near the 26 min mark. but then I explained exactly what I meant right after since we were breaking down if Canelo was special or not. Pretty much everybody agreed he wasn't special. I just took it a step further and said its similar to how Linares was looked at early in his career, Looked great, but when he finally steps it up he can't dominate anybody on his level. Even said Canelo is obviously better than Linares. Its just that he can't separate himself. Like we went deep with that shyt and off on a whole tangent trying to break down what special means.
My nikka gave me the click bait blog headline post. Of course that shyt sounds wild, if you leave it at that.
Whole episode was hilarious though. @King P over the top reaction to the live comments had me.
nikkas was actually breaking down how a Canelo vs Badou Jack fight would play out and the draw decision it would get.
Realizing Callum Smith is fukking 6'3 and that Canelo will be fighting a Sentinel from Xmen.
Special Fighters don't have as many close calls as Canelo does was prolly the realest comment of the night though. King P summed shyt up perfectly.
