I’d undoubtedly favor Haney Over Lopez. Skill wise it seems like Haney just a step above.
Maybe it’s just the recent memory of Lopez struggling against the Tall Japanese cat he just fought. Him vs Commey is the main event on that Crawford card as far as I’m Concerned. Win or lose, how he looks against a savvy, world class veteran in Commey is obviously a fair barometer of how good Teofimo truly is.

This is already Crawford's 3rd division and the ones he's been before that, he took on whoever he had to in those, became lineal champ in both, undisputed in one, left no questions unanswered when he was there. Tank hasn't done anything near that at 130.
I can see a legti criticism toward Bud's level of opposition but it's not like he was dragging up fringe contenders from lower divisions, he fought who he had to and beat them all convincing. Tank's 130 run makes Crawford's 135 and 140 run looking like fukking murderers' row.
How the other fighters handle it is also different.
I'm not saying Spence is ducking Crawford or will duck him, I think he will eventually look to fight him (assuming he comes back healthy) but he did say things about sides of the street, how Crawford has to wait and shyt, nobody tried to cut Davis out like that from his peers. He actually received an offer. I'm seeing people shytting on Farmer for not accepting it but wouldn't it been dumb to accept it if he can make more bread with the offer his promoter sent to Davis' side? Wouldn't that be bad, irrational business in your opinion?

He's not having bad number to be fair but they are not as big either to justificate Ellerbe being that stuck up about being "the A side". He thinks Davis is already the star they want him to become while he is not there. Social media followrs can be indicative of how popular a fighter is but they are not everything. Gervonta Davis has more than 2X as many followers on Instagram than either Crawford or Spence. Hell... Ryan Garcia has almost 4 million followers. Still neither Garcia not Davis are the level of draws as Spence or even Bud.
The numbers Tank has been doing are of a fighter who's somewhat of a draw but not really, not yet at least.
