I try to be.

I'm usually viewed as a Canelo hater.

when you tell the truth, it usually happens :heh:

tbf there should be any talk about fixes in Canelo's case either. It wasn't the most exciting fight but the finish was picture perfect, Kovalev didn't know where he is for a minute.

there shouldn't be...its not a fix..but there was a lot of failure in the boxing eyes of ppl who couldn't see how that canelo-kovalev fight would played out..most if not all the canelo dikkriders are juelzing hard because of it :russ:

The hate is disgusting :scust: yall boys wild.

Like I said. These little g dikk riders still can't let shyt go. I don't even think it's about canelo, it's more about all the jokes they had to endure after they took that L. They're still burning up. They just keep waiting for canelo to lose but it never happens, so now they have to try and flip victories into losses somehow.....That's how desperate they are bro:heh:.......You hate to see it. These coli rivalries used to be all light hearted jokes but dudes really let this shyt eat em up inside. Sometimes you gotta know when to just move on. But if they can't see how sad they're looking now, they prolly never will :yeshrug:

Julian Williams-Jeison Rosario Tabbed For 1/18 In Philadelphia
By Jake Donovan

Published On Mon Nov 4, 2019, 12:57 PM EST

Julian Williams has a dance partner for his homecoming title defense.

BoxingScene.com has learned that the unified junior middleweight titlist will face Miami’s Jeison Rosario for his first defense. As previously reported by BoxingScene.com, Williams’ fight tops a Jan. 18 edition of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox, airing live from the Liacouras Center on the campus of Temple University in his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

RingTV.com contributor and Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) president Joe Santoliquito was the first to report the news of Rosario as the confirmed opponent. PBC representatives have declined comment as neither the bout nor the show itself has yet been formally announced, although reliable sources have confirmed the matchup to BoxingScene.com.

The undercard will also likely include locally based unbeaten 122-pound contender Stephen ‘Cool Boy Steph’ Fulton (17-0, 8KOs), whom has advanced from a top prospect to his current industry standing and is on the verge of title contention in 2020.

Original plans called for a rematch between Williams and Hurd, which was targeted for Dec. 14 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The bout would have aired live in primetime on Fox, as did their fiery first fight in which Williams floored Hurd (23-1, 16KOs)— then an unbeaten and unified titlist in round two en route to a well-earned unanimous decision in their Fight of the Year-level war this past May in Fairfax, Virginia.

The title-lifting effort over Hurd ran Williams’ current win streak to five in a row. The lone loss of his career came in his previous title bid, suffering a 5th round stoppage in an otherwise competitive effort versus Jermall Charlo in Dec. 2016.

Several factors came into play as to why the rematch never materialized, though largely coming down to Hurd—who has since parted ways with longtime trainer Ernesto Rodriguez—opting to take his career in a different direction.

Along with the bout falling through, so did plans for the entire show in general. Fox Sports has scrapped the date, instead running a primetime edition of PBC on Fox on Dec. 21 with another 154-pound title fight rematch, as reigning titlist Tony Harrison faces former claimant Jermell Charlo in a rematch to their title-changing clash exactly 52 weeks prior, which also aired on Fox.

Four weeks later will come Williams’ hometown headliner, his first fight in Philadelphia in nearly eight years. The closest he’s come to fighting at home since then came in back-to-back appearances at Sands Bethlehem Event in Bethlehem, roughly an hour north of Philly.

Rosario enters his first career title fight, and—as was the case when Williams entered his title challenge of Hurd—as a considerable underdog heading into the hometown of the defending titlist. The 24-year old from Miami, Florida by way of Dominican Republic is unbeaten in his last eight starts following a 9th round stoppage to Nathaniel Gallimore in April 2017. The lone hiccup along the way came in a Feb. 2018 draw with Mark Anthony Hernandez, whom he stopped in the 9th round of their rematch this past February.

Most recently, Rosario scored a 10-round split decision over Mexico’s Jorge Cota this past April in Carson, California.

Eleider Alvarez vs. Michael Seals Finalized For January 18
By Random Hits

Published On Mon Nov 4, 2019, 02:26 PM EST

Two of the light heavyweight’s division’s most explosive fighters are set for a fistic shootout Saturday, Jan. 18, as former world champion Eleider “Storm” Alvarez will face Michael “Cannon Handz” Seals at Turning Stone Resort Casino.

The 10-round showdown will be contested for the vacant WBC Continental Americas title, and the winner is expected to challenge for a world title in 2020.

Alvarez-Seals and a co-feature will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+, beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Undercard bouts will stream live on ESPN+ starting at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.

Promoted by Top Rank, in association with Groupe Yvon Michel, tickets priced at $89, $75, $69, $62, $59 and $40 go on sale Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. ET and can be purchased at the Turning Stone Resort Box Office, charge by phone by calling 800.771.7711 or online at Ticketmaster.

“This is a fantastic fight, a true 50-50 matchup featuring two of the division’s best punchers,” said Top Rank chairman Bob Arum. “The light heavyweight division is on fire right now, and the winner will be in a tremendous position.”

“I am very happy to get back in the ring after this long layoff,” Alvarez said. “I am looking at Jan. 18 to reboot my career against a strong puncher, Michael Seals, and begin my campaign to once again be on top of the boxing world. I have a lot of respect for my opponent, but in 2020, nothing will stop me from becoming a world champion again.”

“First, I would like to thank Top Rank and ESPN for giving Eleider this opportunity, as well as a plan to be very active in 2020,” said Yvon Michel, Alvarez’s co-promoter. “Eleider had a great run before his last fight, beating three former or current world champions in a row: Lucian Bute, Jean Pascal and Sergey Kovalev. The defeat in his rematch with Kovalev was very painful, but also a great learning lesson. Eleider Alvarez belongs with the elite of the light heavyweight division, and he will prove it starting Jan. 18 in Verona.”

“Uncle Bob and Brad Goodman are giving me the opportunity of a lifetime, and I am going to put on a show for them,” Seals said. “Everyone knows that going the distance is against my religion. I’m going to bring the heat, and that’s no secret. Alvarez made a huge mistake in accepting me for his ‘comeback fight.’ When you sign a contract with me, I’m trying to force-feed you some ZzzQuil. This is a tune-up for him but everything for me. I’m not an opponent for the top fighters. I am a top fighter. I want a world title shot, and I won’t let this guy get in the way. He had his time. It’s my time.”

Alvarez (24-1, 12 KOs), the Colombian-born, Montreal-based boxer-puncher has not fought since Feb. 2, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Sergey Kovalev six months after knocking him out to win the WBO light heavyweight world title. Alvarez’s long layoff is due to a torn foot ligament he suffered in training earlier this year. He hopes a win over Seals will earn him another crack at world championship glory.

Seals (24-2, 18 KOs), a Mobile, Alabama, native who played collegiate football at Alabama A&M, is still one of the division’s heaviest hitters at 37 years of age. An 11-year pro, Seals has been involved in many memorable brawls, including a 2015 Fight of the Year contender versus Edwin Rodriguez that included five knockdowns in three rounds. Despite falling short versus Rodriguez, Seals’ reputation as a fan-friendly fighter was solidified. He has won four in a row, including three by knockout in either the first or second round. He is coming off a one-punch, first-round knockout Oct. 18 in Philadelphia against Elio Trosch.

That's been interesting in Wilder and also shown in this video how he doesn't do traditional roadwork nut replaces running with swimming and it seems to work for him. His stamina never seemed bad.
It will be interesting to see if other boxers will try this too.
Or did they already?
I can't recall.

swimming is great cardio...its nothing new...its also very low impact which makes it really popular if you got leg injuries and stuff in the past
