I’ve been thinking about. I think the “Terrance Crawford” blueprint is going to Career that upcoming fighters strive for. Forget the Mayweather blueprint, he’s an Anomaly. The Crawford blueprint is actually attainable. You still have to be really good, and win the fights you’re suppose to win, but you can make a very good lifestyle for yourself.

Guys like Tank, Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, etc. This whole social media era of boxing.

These guys can make good money without ever having to fight an A level guy. These guys can fight whoever, get paid twice a year, leave the sport with their health in tact, and continuing working with the promoter as a commentator.

I hate to call it the Crawford plan, because he will fight anyone, but it really just worked out that way for him. As I stated earlier, this nygga can retire right now, as a millionaire, and hofer, without having fought another fellow A level fighter.

The Crawford blueprint
Not exactly. Whatever you think about Crawford being with Top Rank there were external factors in play too. He fought everyone he should have while he was at 135 and 140 it just happened the level of opponents wasn't great in those divisions at the time.
He hasn't beaten an elite fighter but he beat good-very good fighters, always in dominant fashion, he didn't have close fights with that type of opponents. Porter had his shyt pushed by Julio Diaz, Danny Garcia against Herrera, Brook against Carson Jones, etc. Crawford always beat the same level if dudes dominantly. Also his skills and talent are very obvious to anyone who watches boxing.
So it's still not an easy "model" to follow and you need more than just simply beat good opponents somehow.
Also maybe it's too early to speak about Crawford's career in retrospective. Let's say he fights the (by the time) undisputed 140 champion Prograis/Taylor/Ramirez and then sometimes at the back end of 2020 Spence and wins both... nobody would give a shyt anymore who has he fought or not fought before.

The 3 guys you mentioned... seems like Haney wants all the smoke, he's already calling for Loma, only 20... there's nothing what makes me assume he won't face elite level opponents.
Ryan Garcia might be a diva but he's taking a tough fight now. Tank is a knucklehead and his lack of discipline gonna be his undoing I also don't like how his career was navigated lately but he also fought a Pedraza already, I think he will face elite opponents too at some time.

I clearly said it wasn’t his fault and it worked out that way. I also said you still have to be very good to even implement it.

My entire point still stands. You can make great money minimizing tough competition.

It’s harder to pull off in some divisions, like heavy weight, where you typically have to fight the best guys available to really get paid.

Deontay Wilder: Fury should have been stopped on cuts against Wallin

Deontay Wilder: Fury should have been stopped on cuts against Wallin

but he was allowed to continue and he won so any complaints about "the fight should have stopped" are hollow. We saw him winning even with the cuts, we found out who's the better fighter. That should be the point, nothing else, not splitting hairs about textbook rules.

What to expect from "But... I knocked him out :mjcry:, it was 11 seconds" Wilder though.

He is telling the truth on both accounts though

LOL, how so?
he was up and many mix up 10 count with 10 seconds, not exactly the same

And the cut... he could still fight and win with the cut, why should I give a fukk about it then?
Point is he proved he's better than the other guy, imo both times, even if he had to go through different kinds of shyt in both fights.

Nonsense

Lewis vs vitali was rightfully stopped and vitali could still fight. Fury should have been too
He didn't prove he was better then Wilder. He got dropped then later slept.
