Nah I dont think Haney is too green. Hes not aggressive enough. You have to take charge against Loma to beat him.
Disagree on this. Wiry, rangy dudes with good jabs and movement like Pedraza and Campbell gave him the most problems other than Salido and not aggressive ones like Sosa, Martinez or Marriaga. I think there are more styles to beat Loma (not all though) but it takes an exceptionally good fighter from each to pull it off and while Campbell, Pedraza, etc. are fine fighters, they fall just short of that category. Haney has a chance to get there once but he’s probably way too early in his career for this.

Charlo gonna have to get back to working behind his jab and stop trying to blast dudes out
Mall still uses it. I think the Charlo bros just have a stylistic weakness against good movers, they don’t cut off the ring but charge in straight lines and that power jab serves the best if the opponent is more stationary and possibly on the offensive. He has problems landing that against more slippery dudes

As expected, this honestly isn't too bad of a fight but Mall Charlo momentum all gone

Btw why fighters lie to themselves like that? Both Charlo and Hogan should know that belt means fukk all and the real WBC champ is Canelo. Charlo’s belt is like the WBA regular. If Canelo would go on to beat Andrade and GGG/Derevyanchenko nobody with sense would say he’s not undisputed.

We've discussed it on here before but Ward brought it up on the JRE podcast, RJJ really turned down $40M guaranteed to fight Tyson to go back down to fight Tarver. It sounds too stupid to be true.
Going down in general was a bad idea for Roy...but Roy left all that HW money on the table and it cost him big.

Both Tyson n Roy wanted 25 mil a piece.
The investors could only do 17 mil each, not including the ppv upside (which would have upped it eventually) Tyson was down. Roy still wanted the 25 mil and declined the offer. :snoop:
