I give Whyte flack but one thing I won't ever question is this dude's willingness to get in the ring with anybody willing to sign on the dotted line. I do believe him vs Wilder would be a really good fight if/when it happens. He just has stamina issues late which leads to him getting careless
Meh........I don't think 99% of boxers are afraid of fighting any opponent within a weight class of them. Especially when you're a C+ average world level heavy..........of course you'd get in the ring with AJ Wilder Fury Ortiz Usyk b/c you make a lot of money and don't lose much........because people expect you to lose

I'm not saying boxers are scared, i'm saying that'll he get in the ring with anyone. Outside of the issues of trying to get Wilder/Fury/Joshua in the ring with him, dude takes the fights offered to him w/o hold up and keeps it moving. That's all i'm saying

Ortiz is not in that league breh :russ:

Not big money and he has looked old as shyt recently.

If Ruiz would beat AJ on their rematch Ruiz would probably be a big money fight too

Reporter Tried To Get Both Pulev and Arum Sanctioned

Reporter Tried To Get Both Pulev and Arum Sanctioned

As BoxingScene.com previously reported, the California State Athletic Commission lifted the suspension of heavyweight contender Kubrat Pulev, who kissed a reporter without her consent during a post-fight interview after he completed a sexual harassment course and paid a $2,500 fine.

The CSAC voted unanimously to allow Pulev to reapply for his license with the caveat that future offenses would result in a lifetime ban from fighting in North America.

Pulev was suspended in March after he grabbed Jenny Ravalo’s head in his hands and planted a kiss on her lips following his knockout of Bogdan Dinu.

He apologized to Ravalo before the commission voted. He said it was not sexual but an emotional reaction to his victory.

Ravalo said that’s not OK. She said she has been bullied online by thousands for speaking up and claims to have been slandered by Pulev’s promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank.

“Mr. Arum cares little about sexual harassment at all,” Ravalo told the commission before the vote, noting that he recently said he did not believe “that a 6-foot-4, 250-pound boxer grabbing the face of a 5-foot-2 reporter and forcibly kissing her with his bloody mouth was sexual harassment. I would like to see if he would think differently if a large, bloody man did the same to him without his consent.”

Ravalo, through her lawyer, Gloria Allred, asked the commission to sanction both Pulev and Arum.

In response, the commission said Arum also participated in a sexual harassment remediation class with Pulev and appeared to have learned something.

Pulev agreed to participate in a video campaign about sexual harassment that the commission is considering doing. He said it would be important for people to know that such behavior is not correct “because a lot of people like me don’t know.”

Imagine Arum and Pulev sitting together in a sexual harassment class :dead:
like some sitcom scene

Berchelt To Herring: Keep Winning, Unification Not Worth Much

By Ryan Burton

Last week newly crowned WBO junior lightweight champion Jamel Herring took to Twitter to declare that WBC junior lightweight champion Miguel Berchelt had turned down a unification bout and that he would likely be facing his mandatory challenger next.

BoxingScene.com reached out to Berchelt, who has successfully defended his title 5 times, to get his side of the story.

“I was never offered that fight. I just think he likes to talk a lot,” Berchelt replied.

As for his interest in the fight, Berchelt, who has previously told BoxingScene.com that he prefers fights against unified lightweight champion Vasiliy Lomachenko or WBA junior lightweight champion Gervonta Davis, said that there isn't much interest in the unification bout at this time and that it could be more lucrative down the line.

“He should worry about building up his name and if he is able to keep his title then down the road we can unify when the fight will be a lot bigger because right now it isn’t worth much,” Berchelt told BoxingScene.com.

Berchelt isn't very interested in replying on social media, saying that he isn't big on arguing in public forums.

He can keep fighting on Twitter. I do my fighting in the ring,” said Berchelt.

berchelt clearly sees something in herring's style plus size that makes him :patrice:..if ito had won that fight im sure he would have been on board
