He just gotta stay focused and have the right game plan. If this was the 90's or early 2000's where everybody was more active, some jobber fight in August and the Ruiz fight in December wouldn't be a bad look. but since these nikkas fight twice a year they may as well run it right back cuz their skills are only going to erode if he comes back 6 months from now to face some career mode cat.
you not even wrong, its just the era we in makes that logic counterproductive which is sad.

I think he should tbh, he made a stupid mistake, the same he made against Klitschko. Against Klitschko he was lucky cause it didn’t cost him the win, against Ruiz it costed him. Both times he thought he can recklessly finish an opponent he thought he hurt and ended up getting clipped. Until he didn’t make that mistake he was winning, outboxing Ruiz. I think with a more conservative mindset he gonna outbox Ruiz maybe stops him late in a not so exciting fight.

and Joshua has to fight the urge to wanna operate mid range in Ruiz wheelhouse. Pump that jab from a distance and box like when he did after Povetkin was piecing his ass up early.
