They play best friends with both Haymon and Oscar, in this situation Oscar's guy, a.k.a. Canelo the money guy is the one who worths more to them and they don't want to lose him again so they are not about to write out any mandatory challenge to him but at the same time they are afraid that Haymon is going to be mad at them so they made Charlo the "regular" WBC champ as a gesture that they love Haymon too.

The WBC belt was the one I always respected but coming up, Tyson had all the damn belts..I remember when Roy had alm the belts and they kept hyping up that undefeated German Darius Michaelkesi...a guy who refused to come to America to fight Roy...And Joe Calzaghe did NOT WANT TO move up to light heavy for that ass whooping.

I think its going to happen just putting the puzzle together, I think Spence-Porter & Garcia-Garcia are up for LA in September that's why we haven't got a date or venue for both.
Whichever one gets Sept LA, the other will get BKNY on another date. The fights might be interchangeable. I'm just speculating based on what I seen and heard.
