Well i'm a little disappointed being that Hunter is a former cruiserweight so it makes me question if he can be enough of a challenge physically (i'm not bullish on Usyk's heavyweight chances either, not at top level) but as long as he isn't taking super soldier serum then it should be okay.

Hunter has looked good at HW, beat one of the UK's top HW prospects in Ilunga and then whooped a giant in Ustinov. I was actually looking forward to Miller v Joshua but Hunter is a pretty good replacement for late notice.

Yeah ya'll right, Hunter deserves this shot. Just went back and watched some of his fights, he's been putting in the work all without the Miller go-go juice.

Tony Harrison-Jermell Charlo II Confirmed For June 23 on Fox

By Jake Donovan

Tony Harrison and Jermell Charlo are set to do it all over again.

A date has officially been assigned to the long-discussed super welterweight title fight rematch, with their bout due to take place on June 23 in a special Sunday evening primetime edition of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox.

An exact venue or location has yet to be attached to the event. Sources have informed BoxingScene.com that the bout could wind up in Charlo’s home state of Texas or at a neutral site in California.

The title fight takes place six months—almost to the day of their first fight, which also aired live on Fox as part of the network’s rebranding of the PBC series. Charlo (31-1, 15KOs) entered their December bout as an unbeaten super welterweight titlist, sharing the bill with twin brother Jermall whom outlasted Matvey Korobov in their middleweight title fight.

Jermell’s night wasn’t anywhere nearly as kind, as he suffered a highly controversial unanimous decision defeat, the first of his career. It was Harrison’s first win in a title fight, with his lone other bid for alphabet hardware coming in a Feb. ’17 knockout loss to current unified titlist Jarrett Hurd.

The rangy boxer from Detroit put together one of the better performances of his career last December, even if most observers felt the decision should’ve went the other way. Controversy aside, Charlo suffered his first career defeat as his 3½ year title came to an end. Three successful defenses came of his run, including a 12-round nod over Austin Trout last June.

Harrison (28-2, 21KOs) enters the fight riding a four-fight win streak.

By the time the fight rolls around, another significant bout in the 154-pound division will have been decided. Hurd will defend his pair of titles versus veteran contender Julian Williams on May 11, with the winner very likely to be floated as a viable option for whomever prevails on June 23.

Confirmation of the rematch settles plans for both Charlos. While it was agreed that they wouldn’t once again share a card for their next respective bouts, both still come in close proximity of one another. As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Jermall is due to return in mid-June versus Brandon Adams which will air live on Showtime.
