It's irrelevant cause as you can see AJ made more than Wilder with those UK PPVs and he gonna make 35M in America against Miller
He constantly gets significantly more than Wilder so 50-50 is not realistic
He's the most high profile fight for AJ next to Fury so he gonna get 40 or maybe even a little more but not 50-50

Got damn
Didn't even look like he got full extension on that shot either.
Nah man, you can't spin those numbers on a way that a Wilder 50% is realisticIt is relevant. How many people are spending money to see AJ in PPV in the US? when he was on Showtime ratings were never that great. Plus Al Haymon was the one that gave him his first title shot. Being a champ helped build his brand and sell more tickets.
You can't compare the UK market to the US, we have more options here. When Wilder fights he is competing against an NBA game, or UFC fight, etc. The real test is to see what the gate for AJ vs Miller is. Joshua is not going to ever have to face anyone good at this point look at the rankings for his titles (did they out Ortiz back?). Wilder has Fury, White, Ortiz, and everyone on the PBC roster.

Again...
In his last 3 fights Joshua made more than twice what Wilder made in his last 9.
You can "UK this, UK that..." all you want but as you can see he still made a lot more than Wilder in the UK and will make even more in the US.
You can't just brush off that difference between the amounts with a "let's see the gates though".
Joshua got more than Wilder both in the UK and in the US too, that's what matters most when they decide about purse. They get the purse they get for a reason, not just for charity. Wilder being American doesn't automatically mean he can demand 50% if he can't make as much as Joshua either way regardless if we compare him to UK fighting Joshua or US fighting Joshua.
Joshua would be a damn fool to go to the US just so he can give Wilder 50%.
Why do you think DAZN wanted to pay 20 Ms for Wilder against Breazeale (still a huge fukking amount for that fight btw...) but they are willing to pay 35M to Joshua against Miller? Surely it's not because Miller is that much bigger of a name than Brehzale.
It's because Joshua's basic fight purse is higher to begin with and because they see a great long term investment in Joshua so they throw that money at him.

Gonna find a cheap bar for this.. Not even really a good fight
