So much revisionist history by Broner. He didn't fight a killer at 147 in Paulie, and many felt he lost that. He'd be more praised had he jumped up and fought, say Brook, and won easily.
And now Marcos was the boogyman??? Marcos came into the fight after 3 wins over Karass, Martin Martinez, and Lopez. I wasn't as invested into boxing again leading up the Maidana fight, but I don't remember him being considered some sort of killer
