Wilder offered 50 million for two fights for Dazn...then he could opt for more in a Joshua unification match.
WBN is currently reporting that WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has been offered $50 million for a two-fight deal on DAZN. Wilder was known to be meeting with DAZN representatives this week and with this supposed offer Wilder would be set up to earn $25 million apiece for two fights that would eventually lead into an undisputed heavyweight title unification against Anthony Joshua should Wilder win in both outings. Wilder would then be able to negotiate a better deal for the Joshua fight separately.
Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, has told Sky Sports that he won’t play much of a role in the DAZN talks with Wilder considering the acrimony between Wilder’s co-manager Shelly Finkel and himself. The two have gone back-and-forth with one another in the media over the last year which hasn’t proven to be productive in making the fight that everyone wants to see happen.

If the offer proves to be legit it could be a hard one to turn down. Earning $25 million for two fights is certainly nothing to sneeze at, particularly with the potential to earn much more for a fight against Joshua. That said, Wilder might not be interested in making a two-fight commitment to DAZN as that would seemingly push any potential fight with Joshua into 2020.

WBN mentions that opponents for Wilder’s two-fight offer would include his mandatory defense against Dominic Breazeale (with Al Haymon’s blessing), Dillian Whyte, Wladimir Klitschko (who is still retired last time I checked), and Oleksandr Usyk (who has been eyeing a move to heavyweight).

Pac-Thurman-Spence-Porter in some mixture for sure. Maybe Mikey too if he pulls off a miracle or if he will be competitive in a loss.

Arum should throw that ESPN money at PBC 147ers now though to get them fight Crawford. Probably not Spence yet, surely not Pac, Thurman maybe but not likely. I think he could get Porter or Swift to fight Crawford with a good offer.

It will never happen, but imagine if PBC did a WW tournament with the names you mentioned (Pac, Thurman, Spence, & Porter).

I think that's what they wanna do, a mini tournament with these dudes, maybe some Mikey (if he can be competitive w Spence), Swift, Ugas, etc... sprinkled in

It's not that hard to make for them and 147 is one of their only strongholds next to 154 and kinda 126 although ESPN is strong there too.

PBC can easily regain some ground with this..there is no promotional barrier...speak it into existence breh

I think Spence & Porter would be for it. I have doubts about Pacquaio & Thurman.

I think Pac would fight anyone, but would his team do it? He really has nothing to prove. He's already a Hofer. It's about collecting paychecks.

Thurman? I don't even know what to say about this guy anymore.

If they actually had a tournament, I say just let the biggest draw pick his opponent, and the remaining two guys fight. I think Freddie likes the Thurman fight.

They attempted a mini unofficial tournament with Thurman/Garcia & Spence/Brook. What did it lead to? Nothing man.

It’s been 4 years already the muhfukkers should’ve atleast have learned on the job by now :shaq2:

Not one of the 1st crop of PBC fighters who had the HBO/Showtime rub before PBC is better off 4 yrs later

Then the new batch of nikkas the 2nd gen PBC nikkas are now in the same position the OGs were in... no fukking fight dates... bad undercards... random thrown together opps... random venues

Meanwhile Dazn got Tevin Farmer Andrade N hooker poppin just by keeping them active :mjlol:

Thurman been injured though :yeshrug:

Now these dudes are actually calling for fights with each other. Porter, Thurman, Spence, Pac. We'll see what's smoke and mirrors from this and what's real but I believe any of them would fight Pac for example. Still the biggest money fight at 147 probably.

They either try to build up Spence vs Pac by matching them with different opponents first (Pac vs Thurman, if Thurman beats Pac, Spence vs Thurman would be very big too after that and Spence vs Porter) or they can go straight to Spence vs Pac later this year

DAZN also just gave Golden Boy a weekly prospects series on Thursday Nights, this is the shyt PBC/Al should be doing with either FS1 or Showtime, instead of doing 15+ fight cards with prospects fighting during the day on a bigger card, unseen by live crowds and TV audiences.
