TR and Warren had a deal already but Fury wasn't included in it so far, now he is
Wondering what this mean to the prospects of AJ vs Fury

Big get for ESPN

Wow, came out of nowhere. Yeah this is HUUUUGE. Massive for boxing in the US.

ESPN was already doing their part in pushing Wilder vs Fury 1, the second one is going to be seen everywhere now (as far as additional promo)

I can imagine Fury doing monster numbers, like 2.5 - 4 million on ESPN. As long as they don’t be stupid and try to compete with FOX cards (that makes boxing look bad imo)

This gives ESPN a top 3 of Crawford, Fury and Loma..with guys like Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson coming up quickly.

so that means PBC/Haymon and ESPN/TR will have to play nice with each other in order to get this rematch cracking

prolly makes Fury vs Femi more feasible though

Marvin Hagler Praises Golovkin, Slams Boxing's Title Confusion

Hall of Famer Marvelous Marvin Hagler, who retired with a record of 62 wins, including 52 inside the distance, two draws and three defeats, shakes his head at the amount of titles that are on offer in his former sport today compared to his heyday.

"Now they have so much they throw them (titles) away like candy," he said.

"It was a long hard road in my day. I said you have to kill me to take it (the title)."

Hagler, the undisputed middleweight world champion from 1980-87, says there is one boxer who he believes represents the good old days and that is Kazakhstan's former unified middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.

"I saw 'Triple G' and I told him I am glad that you became champion because it brings back respect into my division, you look like a champion who will be there for a while.

"Most champions these days, they come and they go, they confuse the public, who do not know who the real champion is.

"Right now they think Mike Tyson is the champion," he adds, chuckling.

Hagler, though, derives great pleasure in his work with disadvantaged youngsters in his role as an academy member of Laureus, a global movement that aims to use the power of sport to tackle social challenges in the world.

"I like to give them hope and direction and put a smile on their faces," he said.

"I went to Brazil before the Olympics to see some of these kids who had bad habits.

"I had to step in there but my wife says 'Marvin, what are you doing?'. However it gets into your blood and you get carried away.

"The coach (at the gym) says I am not going to stop you going in there.

"It is important to catch them when they are young. It was exciting and they responded."

Oh I see..you agree with Bradley's shaky accessment. That's cool. So far...Spence's style leads to KNOCKOUTS. 11 str8. We'll see who is one dimensional soon. And Spence will end up at middleweight..so it's good he can this low to wrap up business here. Why won't anyone legit sign those contracts to expose him then??
Why do you say Bradleys assessment is shaky :mjlol: because YOU don’t agree with it? Remember that the WBC ordered Spence Bradley before he retired so I guarantee Bradley has watched more film on Spence than you have. Furthermore, just because you point out someone’s deficiencies, that means you think they’re a bum? I literally said “Spence as GREAT as he is....” last part I can’t answer :yeshrug: Danny, Keith and Porter don’t got the gravitas Mikey does.

The Spence/Garcia fight is going to get real nasty. Both are talking a lot of shyt, esp Mikey. I expect both will give it everything and leave nothing out there. Would be very interesting if Mikey outboxes Errol. I don't see that, though. He may get to Errol early like that boy from the UK, but Errol will end up chopping him down just like he did that guy.
The question isn’t if Mikey can outbox Spence he will. It’s how long he can do it without getting hurt. Mikey has to fight a perfect fight and keep Spence’s feet moving the entire time IMO.

Spence doesn't train with Jermall Charlo, Jermall Charlo's trainer is Ronnie Shields, Spence and Jermell train with Derrick James, and all 3 of them got different styles and don't even fight alike.
Yea they have different trainers but they train in the same gym. Guess it’s a coincidence none of them really move their head?

Wilder's side didn't even know about the deal, so how do they make this fight now. Waiting to see Wilder's response. I wonder if the PBC try and get Whyte now.
