Until these guys fight more they’ll never get that respect. Problem with modern fighters is that they just don’t fight enough should be fighting minimum 3 times a year until they reach PPV status
I don't like GGG because of the agendas and nonsense around him, but I respect that dude kept active and busy while trying to build his name up before cashing in his lottery ticket with Canelo. its wild that you got Jermall Charlo fighting once a year but then got nikkas crying about this fighter and that fighter afraid of him and ducking. Man go out and fight and keep your momentum going, dudes just wasting their prime away doing nothing.

:mjlol:

still don't get this hating on current 147

Porter vs Thurman
Thurman vs Swift
Swift vs Porter
Spence vs Brook
Brook vs Porter

And that with Spence only having his coming out party a little more than a year ago (against Brook) and Crawford just moving up recently

all these happened in the last couple of years between top 5 dudes
How many divisions are out there where this high quality top guys fought more against each other? Not many

What are the fights which very much needed to happen in welter in like the last 2-3 years but hasn't? and don't say injured Thurman vs Spence
I might give you Thurman vs Brook before Brook went crazy and jumped up to fight GGG

Notable fights at 160 that happened or were scheduled this year.
GGG vs Canelo
Jacobs vs DervanChanko
BJS vs Andrade
Lemieux vs Spike

Compare that to whats been happening at 147 this year
Porter vs Swift
Spence vs Peterson
Vargas vs Dulorme
Crawford vs Horn.
Alexander vs Berto and Ortiz

We just had Mikey vs Easter and Loma vs Linares this year too at 135.
175 had Superman vs Jack, Krusher vs Alvarez, Bivol vs Chilemba.
Heavyweight had Wilder vs Ortiz, Joshua vs Parker and Povetkin. Wilder vs Fury.. Whyte vs Parker

Nobody is hating. It's just that for whatever reason it takes longer for the top guys to fight each other at 147 than any other division. Thats why you only get 1 marquee fight for the year and the rest is random select mode.

Most weight classes seem to be on average having at least 2 of the top 5 in the division fight each other at least twice this year. Some divisions even had this happen 3x.
Meanwhile the best we've gotten so far this year at welter was Porter vs Swift and Vargas going life and death with Broner and Dulorme.

I hope this answers your question breh. :salute:

Exactly dudes need to be calling Haymon until they get a fight. Every 3 months dudes need to be fighting and if they get an early knockout they need to fight even more frequent Big Charlo has fought like 2 rounds all year but expects to be a star. You need to be in people’s consciousness to gain stardom.

Thurman has fought 2 in 3 years,Spence has fought 3 times in 2 years, Swift has fought 3 times in 2 years, Porter has fought 4 times in 2 years. None of these guys are household names. They are all late 20s and aren’t getting any younger. Porter vs Brook was 4 years ago lmao I know you didn’t realize that. These dudes aren’t active enough there’s nothing to argue about. Plenty of contenders to fight to stay active.

:mjlol:The poster above reminds of what I use to type over and over and over again. These nyggas do not fight. Boxing has got to be the slowest moving sport out there. Takes 5 years to unify a division. I’m done complaining about it, and just accept it for what it is.

We have both Tank Davis and Errol Spence Jr on twitter BEGGING for a fight. I don't think it's the boxers that don't want to fight..I think it's a television/timing issue and politics.

There needs to be cards made for these guys. Also Charlos, Hurd, Broner etc.
