One thing about this Canelo fight is that granted, Fielding is a lower level opponent than the 160 creme but if Canelo beats him w/o problem he also sends out a message to all these big dudes in 160 and 154 like Jacobs, Munguia, the Charlos, Andrade or Hurd that they won't be able to just bully him because their size.

Since he is fighting in 3 months I think a reason he’s taking a fight at 168 is he didn’t want to drain all the weight to get down to 160 like when he took that fight vs Junior at 164.

Yea but I also think he sent that message with the way he battered and bullied little g. Canelo proved he not only has the physical strength for these bigger guys, but also the punching power.
These bigger guys at 160 got the size advantage but canelo knows how to use his smaller stature in his favor. His punches are sharp, short, and accurate. I think he has the pop to hurt all of these guys with a single shot, and vice versa. These fights are gonna be wild

Come on now breh. Canelo hurt little g to the body dozens of times. You know this. And that left hook in the 2nd round changed the whole course of the fight. There's a reason little g fought as cautiously as he did. He knew he couldn't survive a real war with canelo. Little g may not have been staggered, but dude got hurt plenty of times. I honestly don't think he'll ever be the same again.He didnt even hurt ggg once tho
