So on a late Canelo vs GGG 2 note... what we think of Canelo's stamina problems now? Did he finally managed to correct them? Sure he was slowing down a little by the end of the last fight but not more than a fighter usually would in a fight like that. Golovkin looked more gassed most of the times tbh...
He did not fix his stamina issues. He changed his strategy, and yet the fight mirrored the first one. Only difference if Canelo gassed by round 6/7 instead of 4/5.

I disagree with that
He was laying on the ropes from round 5-6 on the first fight, here he was going forward and throw mad shots throughout the whole fight
Moving off the back foot is tiring too but so is always inching forward and fighting fire with fire.
Golovkin also got tired out more than the first fight so that might add to the perception of Canelo's improved stamina but I still think he hasn't gassed as much as he did on some of his earlier fight... Actually I think he hasn't gassed more than any other fighters except the ones with god level stamina in a similar fight.
Canelo never gonna be some crazy volume puncher who throws at least a 100 punches every round but I think his stamina looked better this time, it looked normal at least.

He'll need that new found stamina if he really does fight Spence next May

Where in the hell do you guys get these weird ass hypothetical fights and fight dates from? Spence ain't fighting no damn Canelo
It's what De La Hoya wants...might have to settle for an alternate if Spence gets a unification match against Porter...but Spence has said he wants the Canelo fight too.

He announced he's trying to fight Spence this May?
De la hoya definitely wants to do it...Spence wouldnt back down from an offer since it's too much money. I'm sure Canelo wont fight Charlo...Jacobs? Not sure...Sanders? Who knows. Another GGG rematch? Maybe but I think they might sideline the the trilogy for awhile.
