nah it's not that how big of a star he is
it's just him being in 147 which is a Showtime/Haymon dominated division so it would be reasonable to him to jump ship now, loyalty is good but boxers only have a limited time to make a career and besides that I don't even think changing promoter/network is necessarily a treachery, it's just like changing workplace.
But as I said I understand why he doesn't do it, it would be near impossible and he could be forced to inactivity if he tries.
With Charlo however I think he should just dip, as the recent Jacobs example shows he could even keep Haymon if he wants if he goes to HBO
Spence can't even get the fights @147 against the other fighters in the PBC stable and is getting his prime wasted fighting once and 2x per year, so Crawford shouldn't really feel any pressure to jump. Just look at this dumb shyt, if this fight is being pushed to 2019 then this should be scrapped and he should be getting the winner of Porter/Garcia, but since boxing is retarded Porter/Garcia will likely need a "tune-up" first. Boxing gotta do better than this man.

Agree with you on leaving unless he's comfortable sitting on the shelf. At this point I just don't think Showtime has the budget/dates for all these guys, hopefully there is truth to this rumored Fox deal and it pays enough to keep these guys busy because buzz and momentum is being wasted. Jacobs bounced and is gonna have his 3rd fight in a year and an opportunity at a real belt, don't know how Charlo can see that from the sidelines and not think about making a move.
