Wish promoters would chill with the random C/D level main event cards as a standalone and use the UFC method of just stacking a card with decent fights . I understand trying to make new stars and what not but there is 0 reason guys like Devon Alexander,Andrade,Jose Ramirez,Regis Prograis ,etc should be main eventing anything.Leave main event slots for actual stars or fighters with star potential.Especially for ESPN/Network TV cards. I'd take less boxing dates if it meant we'd get better cards overall and it will help boxing in the mainstream.In my opinion anyway.

You must not be up to date with the UFC's business model in 2018, they got plenty of "fight night" cards with fighters who aren't really stars and don't have star potential. And how in the hell does Prograis not have star potential in the realm of boxing? Dude is an action fighter who tries to knock everyone out.

I was actually at that Source Awards J Prince was talking about and when they flirted the idea of the fight during their presentation, the crowd went wild. That shyt was even buzzing after the show. Everyone wanted to see that bout. That fight should have gotten made, but Roy let Tarver and their King of Florida beef change the trajectory of his career.

17 mil was still good money too. Oh well.

Roy wasn't shot, faded, or fading when he beat Ruiz..We dont know how he would have been physically if he stayed at HW if he hadnt fukked up his body going back down.
