So I just finished watching Hagler vs Hearns.

Ray was 30 years old when he fought Hagler :wtf: He retired at fukking 25? :what: But even at 30 he looked over the hill to me :gucci:

@Yuzo can you breakdown Marvin Hagler's straight right out of the southpaw stance? It is one of the most awkward power punches I have ever seen. It is like a regular straight right out of the conventional stance, but it's opposite. Most people jab with that right hand in the southpaw, but hagler really threw it as a straight right lead. I'd like to know your opinion of it.

Does Bud have a contract re-up coming with TR? If so watch for the robbery if this fight happens.

IDK if Bob would put Bud against Lucas unless he got some time's Super WBA

All this open talking about Crawford winning makes me think that some fukkery is in store for us. Bud doesn't need foolishness to be Hornn. WTF is the Bobfather doing now?

27 and 30

He was 30 when he fought Hagler. And he didn’t look washed imo just got gassed by the end of it but try to come back after 3 years inactivity straight into a Hagler fight with moving on the outside all night and not get gassed...
If anything, hats off to Leonard for that and for winning it. I know some ppl don’t agree with the scores but I never had a problem with Leonard winning that. He usually won his rounds more convincingly than Hagler won his rounds.

And Hagler was only 32 when he retired :gucci:

A detacted retina back then was usually a career ender. Even when Ray fought against guys he could beat, people were still complaining about the potential of him loosing his eyesight.

That awkwardness is what made it so effective. Hagler was a converted southpaw. That's why his right hand was as strong as his left. Just like that guy from Omaha, Nebraska fighting in Vegas tonight.

Best example of the right catching a cat off guard is the Caveman Lee destruction.

Hagler though switched very fluidly and subtlely and used it to continue his attack. I like Bud, but Buds use of switching stances is a bit different. Hagler could switch from right to left to right to left at least 5 times in just 1 exchange! You couldn't really tell which stance he was fighting from since he wasn't fighting from.either one really when you look at.it

No idea whats this bytches end game....:francis:

Swift should be officially given that W, rewatching recently Thurman aint do shyt one bit, be ok with giving a fighter who ran landed less punches winning a fight......Glad it took me years to watch this ugly ass fight again fully though.....You had Swift making Thurman looking like a complete idiot at times, rolling and ducking, 8-9 combos in the middle of the ring looking pretty while failing to drop a hammer......Makes me feel like Garcia aint want to mess up a future bag, and a agreement was made to make the fight competitive, and it wasnt anticipate Thurman dukking a remtach and basically retiring......

Man fukk outta here lol

Garcia got clipped early, had to bear hug for dear life and then for whatever idiotic reason became gun shy. He did too little too latr.
