My take:
On the one hand Hearn and AJ should have advocated Wilder getting into the ring after the fight. They really didn’t help the situation with being such divas about this.
On the other hand if Wilder really had a deal w Sky including commentating the AJ fight, paid travel and paid hotel suit, then turning that down a few days before the fight just cause he senses that they might try to get Dillian Whyte there too is unprofessional. What did he expect when he agreed on all that? He was so sure that Whyte would lose to Browne or what?
And it’s not like Hearn will reconsider his possibilities just because Wilder is not going.
He calls the shots now, it is what it is. If he wanted Wilder vs Whyte before he knew Wilder is not gonna be there he probably still wants that, Idk what changed with this. Wilder should get the Joshua fight next imo, he really earned it but I am just talking about the reality of the situation, not what I would like.
Let’s hope AJ vs Wilder is next though but at this point I doubt it and I think they stuff one more fight before it which gonna be Wilder vs Whyte and AJ vs Povetkin/Miller
To go face to face with his next opponent
Or in Wilder's own words:
"I will get in the ring and go face to face with him," Wilder exclusively told Sky Sports.
"That will be amazing and I hope he is anticipating seeing me and people are anticipating two tough guys getting in the ring. We will call this the preview. This will let people see what our fight will be like."
"Being that he's a champion and I am a champion it's about time the division had one champion. One guy that takes it all, just one master of the division, one king on the throne and that's why I really want this fight to happen."
This is embarrassing & it's starting to feel like the only Boxing fans that defend this cowardness being shown by Joshua are the ones who are fans of him in the ring
