Pretty much.

Wilder eventually puts hands on everybody no matter how bad he's getting outboxed or losing.
May as well train to prepare for that moment and build the reactive instincts to survive it and then conquer it. :manny:
I have always wondered this. Wilder's recklessnes when he gets an opponent hurt may be the most devastating move currently in boxing. He doesnt play it smart and cautiously try to take advantage, he goes straight for the kill.

It also could come to bite him one day. If anything, don't train to protect yourself if you get hurt, train to fire back and hurt Wilder when he leaves himself so open. Puts you at greater odds of getting KTFO, but gives you your best chance to survive and win.

Another Gold Medal
Matthysse would be the underdog

between the blatant ducking of Crawford and now picking Lucas over Danny I'm legit :hhh: @ Pacman. Now what happens if Lucas bum ass beats him :hhh: at least a loss to Danny doesn't look as bad imo.

:deadmanny: don't wanna deal with that Swift body attack or Counters

Don't wanna become another #swiftset KO gif :Smugswift:

fighting Danny would show that he is at least trying to correct an issue he has always had problems with(counter punchers) but beating Postol easy work :picard:

:heh: damn breh

Mayweather gym mostly picked Jessie
I've contemplated this over a fat ass bowl. I just don't see broner winning. Don't even know why y'all are comparing their best versions when broner isn't at his best anymore. Dude is a gunshy nervous wreck in the ring now. I think Jessie has improved a lot since the bradley fight. And when it comes down to it, I think Jessie just has more dog in him when the going gets tough. Even against pacquiao he stayed fighting even though he was getting his ass beat. He's actually willing to get knocked the fukk out if he has to. Broner hasn't shown that in a long while. I've been pretty spot on with my broner predictions lately, and I see Vargas winning a close fight with broner once again being afraid to put his foot on the gas. Talent doesn't matter in this situation because broner will lose cause of his mental weakness more than anything. If im wrong I'll give him props. But I don't see it happening. I think Vargas will take then we'll see Jessie vs Danny after:manny:

Winky would definitely be a title holder in this era or at least top 3 at 154, but in no way he'd be some dominating force or some shyt. Dude went life and death with anybody that had physical strength, power, and activity.

Not everybody was intimidated by his jab and high guard. You had 2nd tier nikkas like JC Candelo, Angel Hernandez, and Soliman giving Winky tough fights. Hurd is definitely better than those 3 cats. Ditto for the Charlo's.

I'm not even going to get into Winky at 160 since beating a past prime Tito is the only thing of note he accomplished there. Bazooka was a decent win, but that nikka was past it too.

Guys like GGG, Jacobs, Andrade, etc....are too big and powerful for dude and their skills are on par with him as well.

The only top guy I see Winky beating is Canelo, because Canelo isn't active enough. Winky would let Canelo have his lil flashy combo bursts and cover up and then proceed to whip his ass with the jab anytime Canelo tries to rest. I definitely think Canelo could hurt him tho, but I don't know if he'd capitalize on it. I think Winky would have beaten Sergio as well.

shyt, Ouma would have given Winky fits and that fight never happened. :manny:

Every fighter is allowed an off night:yeshrug:......and the Vargas fight was before he went on his win streak. I think that fight only made him better. To give winky major problems you had to have a high workrate. I think jermall with his height and motor would prolly be the toughest challenge, but dude still arguably lost to an over the hill Austin trout so :yeshrug:.......most of these guys can't defend against a great jab. Partly because most guys out here don't have a great jab. I think winky's jab would have all these guys dumbfounded. Winky could fight moving or stay in the pocket banging. Don't think any dude 147 to 160 could win more than 4 rounds against prime wink. His chin and jab alone would be too much. That's just me:manny:

he wasnt that much passed it...ike was coming off getting jobbed to vernon forrest (this was a horrible decision by the way :beli:) plus having a good win over verno phillips..ike was just too small for winky

The GGG-Canelo negotiation rules apply. Doesn't matter how much more popular the bigger star is, the other fighter gives you your biggest money making opportunity and professional opportunity. Got to pay the man (Wilder) fairly to make the fight. No way Wilder should settle for below the fights worth, even if it is a career high.

any nikka that started his career in the late 80's or early 90's and was still fighting up until the mid 2000's was definitely past it. I'm not saying Ike was shot or not worth fighting, but he was definitely past it and undersized to boot.

I can't hold these dudes at 154-160 to such high esteem until they get great wins under their belt. Hurd was getting boxed up by a semi retired Austin trout before breaking his old ass down. Charlo got a gift vs the same Austin trout. Those guys would pose the biggest challenges for winky cause of their size and work rate. You had to swarm winky with non stop pressure to break his turtle shell defense. But dude was also fast and had enough pop to keep fighters honest. He would be the clear favorite to me against anybody in this era.

Big Charlo vs Trout was not some robbery. :gucci:

The bigger younger guy landed the harder punches and was awarded the decision. Trout won 5 rds imo and held his own, but that was it.

There's been way worst decisions than that.

Hell, I thought Estrada beat that rat eating nikka the other day, but the fight was close enough where I wouldn't call it a robbery.
