Weight may play a factor, but that 160 speed might've affected him, KKK was landing at will and he isnt exactly prime roy with hand speed......I do know Ward wanted no parts of 164 catch, Ward is kind of a weak ass nikka when u think about itWard had no answer he won both fights and stopped him

"GGG has a constant thudding jab..." Which he wouldn´t reach Ward with because it´s not fast enough and Ward wouldn´t let him, bock, slip, stay out of range etc...
Canelo being the best current defensive fighter? debatable, he is a good one but that´s debatable and Ward had a better defense

2. he would just stay out of range or slip them like he did against Kovalev later on, a fighter with faster hands and longer reach than Golovkin
"he could outwork ward if it becomes a clinch fight" When we saw Golovkin literally fighting in the clinch? He fights in the pocket/mid range and he jabs from the outside but he´s not down to actual inside fighting. Outworking Ward, one of the best inside fighters in the clinch, sure

SOG didn't have to do anything.
Team GGG was knocking on Froch's door at 168 and JCC's at 168......but was scared to ring the #SOGGang doorbell at 168
